REPORT ON INVENTORY OF ROAD OBSTRUCTION

I. Conduct of Road Inventory

The Barangay Officials of Barangay X conducted an ocular inspection on all the


roads under their jurisdiction in compliance with Memorandum Circular No. 2020-027 or
the Road Clearing 2.0. The Barangay coordinated with the Local Government Unit in
identifying road obstructions in their barangay through the Grievance Mechanism being
implemented by the latter.

II. Areas Identified with Obstructions

After conducting the necessary steps to identify road with obstructions, the
Barangay was able to identify major obstructions in Puroks 1, 2 and 3. Minor
obstructions were found in Puroks 4, 5 and 6 of the Barangay.

III. Common Obstructions Identified

Major obstructions found in Puroks 1, 2 and 3 were illegally-parked vehicles,


unauthorized vending stalls, drying of rice, construction materials and structure of a
house and store extending to the road. For minor obstructions, waste materials,
signage, road block, tents, protruding gates and store encroachments.

IV. Displacement Strategies

The barangay officials discussed with the owner of the house with a structure
constituting obstruction to the roads the need to remove the obstruction and the legal
basis for the removal. Prior to the road clearing campaign, the barangay officials
conducted an Information and Education Campaign (IEC) to inform their constituents.
