1. Electromagnets- An electromagnet is a type of magnet in which the magnetic field is

produced by an electric current. Electromagnets usually consist of wire wound into a
coil.

2. Global Positioning System (GPS)- The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a U.S.-

owned utility that provides users with positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) services.

3. Old Television- Einstein’s theory of special relativity describes the speed of light as
the only constant in the universe, while also saying that the laws of motion are always
the same, regardless of how fast an object is traveling.

ACTIVITY 1.1 THE TWIN PARADOX

ANSWER:

Yes, it is possible that Paul became more older than John because according to
Einstein's theory of relativity, the faster you travel, the slower time passes. Because John
travelled in space and stayed in space about 10 years, so that after John meet his twin brother that
they have no longer identical twin. The twins studied all about it thats why they just laugh it off
when their parents get shocked by looking at them.

Activity 1.4 The Time Travelling Student

There is a boy who sad about his life and he wants to change it and go back to the past
that helps himself for decision making, so that after the school he went home and make a time
machine to go back in the past. After he finish the time machine he suits up and activate the time
machine in the time he wants to change and make his present do fine, after activating the time
machine it disappeared and the boy who used is disappeared to and appeared in the past. The boy
successfully back in the past and he started to find himself to talk about their decisions and to
prevent their sadness in the present time. The boy and himself met in the classroom and talk
about all he wants to change in the present time, and they both agree the present boy and the past
boy, then the present boy go back to the time machine to go back in the present time to check if
there any changes and if they prevent sadness in present time.
