Ví dụ : stopped, kicked, laughed, coughed , photographed , passed , increased , washed, watched ,
- chữ viết là ed dung cuối sau các âm voiced ( âm hữu thanh ) bao gồm / b, g, v , ð (th) , z( s giữa 2 nguyên âm )
, ːʒ ( ge) , dʒ( ge) , l, m , n , ŋ(ng), ư, j , r và các nguyên âm o, u, I , e , ai, oi, ei….)
Ex: digged, smiled , played, planned …
- Mốt số tính từ có âm ed đọc là /id /

S + have / has + not /never / hardly + V3 / Ved + O + BEFORE .
Ex : It is the first time I have eaten this food .
I have never eaten this food before .
