How is the rate of reaction affected if the concentration
of the reactant is : (a) doubled, (b) reduced to 1/2?

Rate = k[A]2
(i) If the concentration of the reactant is doubled, the
rate of reaction becomes 4 times .
(ii) If the concentration of the reactant is reduced to
half, the rate of reaction becomes one fourth.
