Software Re-Installation

Re-Installation of the software is done on the operating system level. For this purpose
the auto-start function has to be de-activated. Proceed as following:

1) From the Main Menu select SYSTEM

2) From the Sub-Menu select SYSTEM SETTING

Move the cursor to the lower left of the screen (red mark) and quickly click several
times until the “Enter password” window pops up.
Enter password “kaifa2bu” and click OK
Two new buttons will appear: “Factory Setting” and “CommTest”

3) Click FACTORY SETTING

In the lower left of the factory setting screen there is a button “enter Windows”.

4) Click ENTER WINDOWS

5) Switch off the instrument

6) Unpack software and copy whole directory to USB flash disc

7) Restart the instrument and insert the USB flash disc in the suitable port
The USB device will be recognized as “Hard Disk” or “USB Flash Disc”.
Copy “BCARun”, “BCAFactory” and “BCAUpdate.exe” from the USB flash disc to “My
computer\ResidentFlash\. Overwrite the existing files.

8) Rename the file UnBCAUpdate.exe

Delete the letters “Un”, so that the remaining file is named “BCAUpdate.exe”

9) Switch off the instrument

10) Restart the instrument after 2 minutes
