The Kiss

Characters:
Anastasia Moirre- He loves her classmate named Jake Anderson. But he’s the ex of her
sister. She became the rebound of Jake after her sister left Jake and find another.
Jake Anderson- He’s slowly falling to Anastasia when they always be together after they
broke up of his ex. The sister of Ana.
Leah Moirre- Sister of Ana and ex-girlfriend of Jake.
Cris Lake- Friend of Ana.

[Dripping. Streaming. Pouring. Water spouts from the sky as though dropping out of a
monster can. It fills the air beads, similar to pearls of fog. It seems as though somebody
had splashed the entire earth with sparkling dim paint. On the ground, water
accumulates; streets move toward becoming streams, dunks in the asphalt are smaller
than usual lakes. It is tricky to step anyplace where the ground is covered up, for dread
the clear profundity of the water may sell out you. Off each conceivable surface water
keeps running in a surge of the shining dark.]
Jake: [Running and go to the house of Anastasia.] Anastasia! [Shouting] Open the door.
[Knocks it]
Anastasia: [Open the door] Hey.
[Jake kiss her passionately without hesitating.]
Anastasia: [Push him away] What the!? [Looks at the back]
Cris: Ops! Maybe I should go. [He slowly go to the kitchen.]
[Leah was glaring to them and go upstairs and slam the door]
Anastasia: What the heck are you doing? [Looks at Jake]
Jake: Anastasia, I love you.
Anastasia: What?! [Shouts at him] Are you insane?
Jake: Yes, Ana, I’m insane. I am deeply insane right now. I am so in love with you.
Anastasia: No Jake. You don’t love. You’re still in love with my sister, right?
[Sarcastically laughing] You are still in love with her and I know it.
Jake: I love her before, but now I am in love with you. And we are done. She hurt me
and left me alone. And you are there, who never leaves. [Holds her hand]
Anastasia: Yeah. It’s true that I am there beside you, but you don’t see me. You used
just to forget her huh?! [Crying]
Jake: No Ana. Yes, you are there for me. But I didn’t use you just to forget her. [Holds
her face]
Anastasia: [Sarcastically laughing] And here we go again. Listening to your stupid jokes.
Jake: It’s not a joke—
Anastasia: Yes, it is. I will hear the words you’ll say and believe it and my heart will race
again. [Laughing]
Jake: I am deeply sorry for all the stupid things I did to you. To all the stupid words I
said to you. I’m sorry.
Anastasia: Stop this nonsense Jake.
Jake: But Ana—
Anastasia: [Plays her fingers and looks at the floor.] You still love her right?
Jake: No. [Serious voice]
Anastasia: Then why did kiss me in front of her? To get revenge? [Looks at him]
Jake: No. I go here and tell you how much I love you. I’m sorry if it goes long to tell you
this how my feelings for you. I love you.
Anastasia: No Jake, don’t love me because I love you. Love me because you love me
so.
[Her hands is shaking and crying]
Jake: I love you because I love you. That is the truth.
Anastasia: But there’s still a piece of her in your heart right?
Jake: No. It’s full of Ana in there. I love you Ana. [Looks her in her eyes.]
Anastasia: [Looks him to his eyes] Is it really true?
Jake: Yes, Ana. My love for you now is not the way I love her before. Because you’re
like a sun that shines my day. You made my life meaningful. I love you.
[They kiss passionately under the rain]
Anastasia: I love you too Jake.
