Clarife Monteclaros
Allow me to first convey special thanks and appreciation to our resource speaker this morning,
MAAM Clarife Monteclaros, for sharing knowledge and skills on how to use the FILMORA
App for video editing and the OBS Studio for live streaming and recording. I know you have
been very very busy with work, and yet you still managed to make this training workshop
possible for everyone. Thank you so much, mam. This will help our dear teachers develop and
enhance their skills in video making and teaching online, making learning possible for our dear
learners through distant learning.
I thank all the participants who attended the training, for letting us lend their precious time to be
with us today. We are honored to have you here. I know you are very busy because the new
school year just opened and we are still adjusting to the new normal setup, where tons of
paperwork is waiting for us after this.
Learning these skills is very relevant in today’s new normal set up because it is fun, it is timely,
it is engaging, and students and viewers will certainly appreciate the entire experience.
I would like to congratulate you all for your dedication and active engagement in the learning
experience.
I understand that this is not the best way or set up to train you, dear teachers, on this topic, but
we tried our best in order to meet your expectations to learn from us. We can't meet face to face
or teach you personally because of the current pandemic, but we hope that this training workshop
will help you a little to try a new method of teaching learners aside from the self-learning
modules. Maybe one of these days, we might see your face on YouTube as a teacher YouTuber
who gives knowledge to our students because of the learning you have gathered here.
Distinguished participants,
As you leave this session, I would like to encourage you to use your learning here in order to
provide a quality education for our dear learners. I understand that we have a lot of challenges
with this new normal set up, but we must also think that the one who struggles the most is our
learners.
I wish to encourage you to complete the evaluation of this training workshop that will be shared
with you today as it shall help us shape our future capacity building activities.
In concluding my remarks, I would like to thank all of you once again for your engagement.
My great appreciation goes to Ms. Monteclaros for contributing to a large part of this training
workshop.
