TUGAS VI REVIEW TENSES

Ada tiga tense yang pernah dipelajari pada waktu kelas X yaitu simple present, simple past
dan present perfect tense. Pada Tugas VI ini kita akan mereview (mempelajari ke tiga
tenses tersebut.

Review 1. Simple Present Tense

*Simple Present tense adalah penggunaan bentuk kata kerja I untuk menyatakan kejadian
saat ini, kebiasaan dan fakta/kebenaran umum.

*Verb 1 →Contoh : go -   do not go

goes -   does not go

play -   do not play

plays -   does not play

 Verb of Be →  be   is, am, are)                  

    

*Contoh :     - He works in the office.   - They work in the factory.

- She does not work in the office.   - I do not work in the factory.

- Does she work in the office?   - Do they work in the factory?

- No, she  doesn’t.     -  Yes they do.

* keterangan:

  Subyek Tunggal (He, She, It, Ali, A student, A book) + Verb 1+s (does not + V
Infinitive)

Subyek Jamak dan I (I, We, You, They, Ali and Tono, Students) + Verb 1-s ( do not +
V Inf.) 
* Contoh Penggunaanya:

- The sun rises in the  east. (fakta/kebenaran umum)

- Children usually sleep soundly. (habit/kebiasaan)

- My father does not work today. (kejadian saat ini)

*keterangan yang menyatakan kebiasaan/keseringan (frekwency) seperti : always,

sometimes, often, usually, generally, occasionally, never, seldom, rarely, scarcelly,
on Sundays, once a week, every week, etc

Task 1

Review 2. Simple Past Tense

*Simple Past tense adalah penggunaan bentuk kata kerja II untuk menyatakan kejadian/
peristiwa/kegiatan yang telah terjadi pada waktu lampau.

Biasanya waktu lampau ditandai keterangan waktu lampau seperti :

yesterday, last week, two days ago, this morning.

* Bentuk Verba : Verb 2 ada dua macam yaitu:

   -Regular verb (beraturan  → + ed dan  irregular verb → harus dihafal

 Contoh  Verb 2 : play -  played

work -  worked

study -  studied

live -  lived

go -  went

do -  did

meet -  met

write -  wrote

be -  was/were

*    Contoh :      

 She studied English last night.

 I used to swim in the river when I was a child.
 He was born in 2010.
 I bought this car in Jakarta yesterday.
 You did not report the traffic accident to the police.
 They did not come to the meeting last Monday.
  Did she work in that bank a year ago?
 When did you visit your grandma in Bandung?

Task 2

Review 3. Present Perfect Tense

*The Present perfect tense adalah bentuk verba have/has + verb 3 untuk menyatakan 
kegiatan yang telah selesai dilakukan pada waktu yang tidak tentu/pasti, biasanya ditantai
dengan kata keterangan : just, already, yet dan atau untuk menyatakan kegiatan yang
telah dimulai pada waktu lampau dan sampai saat ini masih dilakuan atau telah selesai pada
saat ini, biasanya ditandai dengan penggunaan kata since atau for + keterangan waktu.

*  Bentuk Verba : Verb 3 ada dua macam yaitu:

   -Regular verb (beraturan  → + ed dan  Irregular verb → harus dihafal

 *Contoh  Verb 3 (past participle):
