PASTORS OFFICE
(A young handsome man walked In with file in his hands he knocks at the door)

PASTOR:
Who is there? Pls come in....
(Jude open the door not smiling walk in)

JUDE:
Good day pastor( and prostrate after thought)

PASTOR:
Good day Bro. Jude,how was work and family?
(Jude shows no interest at pastors pleasantry sensing that pastor continue)
you didn't turn up for Bible study for the past six weeks now, I called to know why and if
there is any problem, but you were agresive over the phone....

JUDE:
No, pastor I don't like the way you are taking this matter,
I am not a child ,I no what is right for me, I am an adult,
I know what is good for me...

PASTOR:
(Sight) we ministers of God are here always here to see and guide
you and watch over you and your spritual lifes but it seems like...(Jude cut in)

JUDE:
Anyways pastor here are the files of the church in my possession
I am no longer available...

PASTOR:
For the service of God right? Uhm
You are blind...OK. But before you go I have a story to tell you after
which I will collect the file...sit down pls(points him to the sit in
front of him, Jude sat Down and pastor began)

MR.MARTINS SITTING ROOM

(Well furnished sitting room, mummy Daniels was watching news
when Daniels walk in from school)

DAN:
Good evening mum...
MUMMY DAN:
Dan! Where have you been? All your mate are back
and you didn't show up you keep me worried you know?
DAN:
Sorry mum we were observing fasting and praying session
at our school today... the new pricincipal introduced it..
MUMMY DAN:
Oh! My dear (as she walk up to him and inbrance him)
that's good I hope you prayed well?
DAN:
Yes mum..
MUMMY DAN.
Alright,your food is cold let me warm it for you
(She place her palm on him his shoulders and walk him in)

Later in the day daddy dan returned from his journey

Knock at the door
MUMMY DAN:
Hold on I am coming (as she approach the door) you are
welcome..
DADDY DAN:
Thanks my loving wife...
MUMMY DAN:
But you didn't tell us you are coming back
We are not expecting you (she said jokingly and
turned her back at him )
DADDY DAN:
Ok sorry can I now come in (she noded with smiles on her face)
Were are the kids
MUMMY DAN:
They are all asleep of course (there both went in to the
Bed room collecting his bag)

AT THE BED ROOM

(Mummy dan cleaning her make up putting on nittie
just as Daddy dan was coming out from the bathroom and sat
on the bed
MUMMY DAN:
I know the journey will be very hectic for you
that is why I insist you go on wednesday to
reduced the stress.
DADDY DAN:
Oh yes, you know I am one of the official, the P.R.O..
MUMMY DAN:
Lest important.......... (They both laugh)
DADDY DAN:
Not really, every position in the house of God is very
important......(he sight) so how is the kids?
MUMMY DAN:
They are doing good, Dan is now man enough he
told me the other day that their school observed fasting
and prayers session and he is not an exception
DADDY DAN:
Waw!! That is splendid I pray God grace be on him to pursue
God greater purpose for his life...
MUMMY DAN:
Amen, but their is a need to intensify our prayers for him
and the rest of the kids...
DADDY DAN:
Oh yes ......let me catch some sleep (yawning) I am very
tired........

ABELS ROOM
(Abel and his friend were busy dancing to the music on
Stereo by a renowned circular artist "Rude boy" when
his mum walked in......

NOTE: Who was that friend of Abel? was it Dan? Has Dan change
From good to bad? are the parents Of Dan praising him in vain?

(Mummy Abel just walk in to behold Abel and
his friend Raji dancing and sweating to the music on stereo)
MUMMY ABEL
Raji how many times have I warn you to stay away
From my son....leave this house this minute (Raji left
without saying a word)
ABEL
Welcome mum.....
MUMMY ABEL
Nothing is well here, since you have decided to disobeyed me
ABEL
MUM....I was the one who invited him
MUMMY ABEL
Shut you mouth up, I am angry and displeased at you
ABEL
Mum!!
MUMMY ABEL
Now how many times did I stop you from listening to
this kind of music and that it does not edify your soul? For crying
out loud why can't you be like a Christian child grown in a
Christian home....eaah
Why can't you be like Femi,Auta or eaeh e e even Daniel
and Jonathan? But you choose Raji....imagine Raji the spoiled
kid......Uhmm I know what to do,
This time around I will make sure I tell DADDY..(She turn to go)
ABEL
No mum...(knelling down) pls mum dad will kill me,if he got
to know about these...
OK..ok k ..i i i will not do it again I promise...pls (mum hive a sight of
relief)
MUMMY ABEL
OK.......Now for a start..get me all those CD's (pointing to the
CD's, ABEL afraid of the tread park all the CDs hand it over to her)

MUMMY ABEL
Abel,...I love you and I want you to be what God practically
want you to be and to do for him, I mean that is the
essence of living woh,..... Now(she put her hands on his shoulder)
The reason I shout every day is not that I don't like you or want you to
have association but choose the right things, and you see,i
want you to be a good child and more over God will
hold us parent accountable if
we refused to guide your decision and point you to the truth about him...
You promised to change right?
ABEL
Yes mum....
MUMMY ABEL
Ok...this one (pointing to the CD's in her her hands) I will
burn them...(as she reach out to the door)...

So now how many of you,can remember God
in their life and honour him with their life,body,
material possession,time? How many Will
declare their allegiance to him and said by your
Grace upon me God and the shown mercy of David,I will
not dissapoint you in life...come and let me pray for
(The congregants began trouping out and Dan was not
and exception)
PASTOR PAUL
Bless God for this wonderful decision,the lord will
help you, For the race is not of him that run but it is
Christ that showed mercy...Father (he began and
prayed for them)
DAN HOUSE
(Mummy Dan sitting under the shade in the house reading
a book as
Dan comes by with a glass of juice in his hands
and sat down)
MUMMY DAN
Oh, you are back?
DAN
Yes mum..(sight)
MUMMY DAN
(Dropping the book she was reading) So how was the school
today?
DAN
It was Fine.
MUMMY DAN
Alright,...you did fasting today?
 DAN
(Dan smiles) No mum,it is a very Friday of the week
not everyday
MUMMY DAN
Oh gush!! (Laugh) sorry pardon me,
you know I always love to see you doing spiritual things,
this way i bealieve you will be great...you see
Since I was born,marry give birth to you and now I
am getting old I have never seen
the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread that will
be your portion my son....
(Dan kept quiet listen)

MUMMY DAN
(Smiles)I am praying for you in the evening like this you

before you know I am praying right?
(Laughing at Dan)
I know there are a lot of bad influences out there but the
Lord will see you through...
So what were you told today...
DAN
We did some arithmetic, and our English teacher was
sopposed to come but was absent...
MUMMY DAN
Then why is he paid for...

Mum you can be angry at him
We got news that his mum is sick
MUMMY DAN

Mum why do you like reading this book (pointing to the
book on the table)I mean you read it more than 20 times
MUMMY DAN

 AT THE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS
(Mikel was discoursing some guys,on seing Dan passing
he left them and run after him)

So how far and about out discussion the other day
MIKEL

NOTE:Some said university is usually were many learn new things, get
change rightly or wrongly thus, it may be because you meet different people from
different culture,background and upbringing.... Both good and bad....
So those it means this change happen to Dan, staying in the environment
were no mum or dad to scold him,has he now succumbed to the pressure
on campus and joint the ban of guys that goes after Ladys?
Or what is the meaning of OUR LAST DISCOUSSION and the responses of
MIKEL? Comparing mummy DAN and mummy Abel CAN you say they are
Example of a good an caring mother?
