reearding the origin of football. Some people allude that Chinese used to play football in
scond and third century. Others aver that it was a famous game in Rome. But modern
football was developedinEngland. The FlFA was established in 1904. The World Cup of
Football was started in 1930, whereas football was included in Asian Games in 1951.
India got gold medal in football in 1951 Asian Games.
India also participated in Olympics in 1948 and 1956. In 1956 Olympics, India was
