As resembling scheme, ChinaG.A.P. has own G.A.P. requirements (Control Points and Compliance Criteria) and certification rules (General
Regulations), which largely conform with the GLOBALG.A.P. System, but leave some exceptions.

Description difference
1 GLOBALG.A.P. provides
checklists that are normative
documents. ChinaG.A.P.
standard owner CNCA
provides only a checklist
template which needs to be
completed by the certification
bodies (CBs). The final
versions of the checklists need
to be approved by CNCA
before CBs can use them.
2 GLOBALG.A.P requires all
producers to be registered in
GLOBALG.A.P. Database.
In case of ChinaG.A.P. only
those producers will be
registered in GLOBALG.A.P.
Database who will export their
produce, but no producers
selling only on the internal
market.

4.3 b) Checklist: Checklist format should be
consistent with the requirements of
Annex 5.
Note: Standard owner CNCA does
not provide checklists as normative
documents, but provides a checklist
template that needs to be completed
by the CBs. The final checklists need
to be approved by CNCA before CBs
can use them.
Annex 3.1 The CB must record the following
data and the G.A.P. Database (the
system of food and produce
certification information in China)
needs to be updated accordingly (as
required in the current database
manual).
