At the end of the period, the students shall be able to:


 Differentiate the types of business organization according to activities.

III.PROCEDURE:

A. Drill:
Greetings : The teacher will greet their students (Good morning Class)
Prayer : The teacher will call one of the student to lead the prayer.
Attendance : The teacher will check the class attendance.

B. Review:
Review the lesson yesterday about forms of business organizations.
:(Okay class, what is our last lesson yesterday?)
( assuming the learners know the previous lesson - Very Good!)
 Sole / Single proprietorship – owned by one person
 Partnership – owned by partners (two or more persons)
 Corporation – owned by shareholders

C. Lesson Proper:
1. Motivation:
 Ask students who wants to become a business person and what kind of business they like to
build.
(Assuming in a group one will answer on a given examples of business on how this
following business earn profit.)

2. Presentation:
 The teacher will ask one of their student to give idea about their topic to present.
 The teacher will presents the three types of business organizations according to its activities:
The Three types of Business Organization are the ff:
Service Business-This type of business offers professional skills, advice and consultations.
Examples: barber shops and beauty parlors, repair shops, banks, accounting and law firms
Merchandising Business-This type of business buys at wholesale and later sells the products at
retail. They make a profit by selling the merchandise or products at prices that are higher than their
purchase costs. This type of business is also known as "buy and sell".
Examples are: book stores, sari-sari stores, hardware stores
Manufacturing Business-This type of business buys raw materials and uses them in making a new
product, therefore combining raw materials, labor and expenses into a product for sale later on.
Examples are: shoe manufacturing businesses, car manufacturing plants

3. Generalization:
Ask questions and let them answer to generalize the lesson.
 The teacher will call their learners randomly to answer the question
(What do you think are the differences of the three types of business organization?
(assuming their students answer it)

4. Application:
 The teacher will conduct quizzes by showing the different picture of types of business
organizations.
 Ask the learners to Identify if is a service, merchandising or manufacturing business.
(I have here a random pictures, and all you have to do is to place each pictures according to
types of business organization it belongs.

 If you were given a chance to build/establish a business, what types of business organization you
want to build? and why?
 Search at least five (5) popular business here in the Philippines , and categorize it according to
what types of business organization it belong.
