up the materials management module, use the work management module to allocate materials to work orders and automatically
generate pick lists for materials.
Procurement management The procurement management module allows you to control purchase order and invoice-matching processes for stocked
materials, direct materials, hired labor, and services. You can also calculate the cost of services using either fixed prices or time
and materials.
Budget management The budget management module automates budget setup and the subsequent capture, monitoring, control, and analysis of
expenditures associated with maintenance work. Use the budget management module to link the financial structure of the
enterprise, its organizational structure, and the physical asset hierarchies.
Inspection management The inspection management module facilitates condition-based maintenance by defining inspection points belonging to one or
more assets. Execute inspection work orders ad hoc or triggered by time frequency and/or meters (calendar- or meter-based
inspection). Or, you can generate inspection work orders based on previous inspection results (condition-based inspections).
Project management The project management module groups work orders and execute them as a coherent whole with specific resource, cost, and
time objectives. The project management module allows large projects to be divided into manageable subprojects and then
assigns individual work order activities to each step.
Integration Work seamlessly both on-premises and via a SaaS environment to provide XML-based data integration. Infor EAM allows you to
link to external applications easily.

within Infor EAM allows organizations to identify hazardous situations, materials and activities and deliver a method to control
these hazards to protect people and the environment.
Case Management Collect data on events that occurred. Be it an accident, a spill, an emission event, a production stop, an incident during a shift that
affects the next shift, etc. Even if the event is equipment related, it may not require a work order, or if the need for a work order is
not clear, you can create a case on the Case Management screen.
Administration
The administration module is the foundation of Infor EAM and is a prerequisite to the functionality of all other modules. Your system administrator utilizes the
administration module to configure Infor EAM to suit the specific needs of your company. The system administrator can define and maintain virtually all
aspects of the system such as user access, system-wide defaults, and the content and format of functions and forms.

Format (.PDF), directly from the Infor EAM Help menu, or from the installation CD.
Workload Inbox and The workload inbox displays a user-specific list of pending actions or activities, such as requisitions awaiting approval. The
Balanced Scorecard user can call functions to complete the activities directly from the inbox. You can assign inbox entries to specific user groups or
to all users, providing a customized listing for each user.
The balanced scorecard displays key performance indicators (KPIs), user-defined parameters that measure productivity or
efficiency, and scores on the home page. With the user-defined scorecard, users can view the status of their specific work
environment using an easy-to-read graphical interface, which allows them to monitor performance.
Multi-organization With the Infor EAM multi-organization security (MOS) and multi-currency features, you can create multiple secured databases
Security/Multi-currency (organizations) while maintaining one physical database. Assign users to one or more organizations and then assign different
roles, security levels, and approval limits for each organization. Users can view and influence “common” data (information
accessible by all users regardless of organization) and the data of the organizations of which they are members.
The Infor EAM multiple currency feature, used only in conjunction with MOS, allows each organization to use a different base
currency.
Export Infor EAM Records Export records to a tab-delimited file to extract information from the Infor EAM database without making an external
connection, e.g., from outside Infor EAM, to the database. The tab-delimited file can be viewed using Microsoft Excel or any
program that opens .TXT files.
Infor EAM Messenger Infor EAM Messenger is a unique feature that notifies you of changes in the Infor EAM database. Set up Infor EAM Messenger
to send e-mail messages to specified e-mail recipients whenever a record is inserted, updated, or deleted from the database.
Asset management
The Infor EAM asset management module provides the most efficient and effective method for managing your physical assets. Each organization establishes its
own unique structure and configuration for physical assets. For example, assets can be centrally located or widely distributed; they can be fixed, moveable, or
rolling stockthey can be moved to new locations, replaced, swapped, and removed for repairs. Assets can be point, linear or network assets. Additionally, assets
can be mechanical, electrical, or civil. A large enterprise may have thousands of individually numbered assets performing one function in a process of many
functions. Therefore, proper asset management is essential to produce quality goods and services.
Infor EAM allows you to record, maintain, structure, and standardize physical asset information. The asset management module holds the identity, configuration,
and structure of physical assets as well as their complete technical and commercial configurations. You can track each asset’s current position (either by location,
Asset Depreciation The asset management module allows you to track asset depreciation and calculate an asset’s depreciation expense
based on an accounting period (fiscal year) and the useful life of the asset. Infor EAM provides the following asset
depreciation methods:
• Straight line depreciation, which is based on the principle that an asset loses an equal amount of value each year
• Sum of years’ digits depreciation, which is based on the principle that a fractional part of the depreciable cost of the
asset is debited to the depreciation expense each year in which the denominator of the fractional portion to debit
represents the sum of the year’s digits
• Double declining balance depreciation, which is an accelerated method of depreciation in which double the value of
the straight line depreciation expense is taken the first year of an asset’s estimated useful life, and then that same
percentage is multiplied by the book value of the at the beginning of the subsequent years in the asset’s life
• Units of output depreciation in which the depreciation expense is based on the usage of an asset within a specified
period
• Asset depreciation support for GASB 34, IFRS and GAAP, asset including impairments and asset appreciation
Asset Structure The asset management module gives you the flexibility to establish your physical assets according to your own asset
structure. Infor EAM provides the following asset structure options:
• Asset identifiers
• Hierarchical structures of unlimited complexity
• Unlimited number of asset parent/child relationships
• Grouping of assets by system location, such as a process line or electrical circuit
• Choice of functional position (one or more physical assets per position) or tag numbers (one physical asset per
functional position)
• Bill of materials, such as a list of parts that may be required for the repair of a physical asset
• Indicators to configure cost roll-up
• Positions, Location and Systems support
Asset Inventory Asset Inventory allows you to perform periodic asset audits. You can perform asset audits to reconcile online asset’s
physical location with the actual physical location of the asset. The counting criteria can be setup on this screen based
on which list of assets in the specified location will be generated. The actual counting can then be performed either by
using a handheld device, iPad or manually. The counted data will then be reconciled, for the user to view and approve
the count.
Descriptive and History Infor EAM provides extensive asset information.
Information Include the following details on each asset record: Track asset history via the following options:
• Profile (name/description) and technical details (rating, • Requirements and action codes
voltage, capacity) • Material and labor costs of maintenance work
• Design and as-built specifications • Potential warranty claims tracking
• Multimedia documentation and physical location • Mean-time between failure (MTBF), mean-miles
• Relationship to other assets, including grouping by class and between failures (MMBF) and fault-trend analysis
category • Location and status changes
• Meter type, inspection notes, and free-form comments • Relationship to other asset changes
• VMRS class and manufacturer/supplier for vehicles • Relationship to other asset additions
• Asset Performance ISO 55001 support
Linear Assets The linear assets module allows you to define an asset in terms of linear reference details—like length, unit of measure,
and geographic reference. You can write work orders against any portion or point on that asset by specifying from and to
points. There are virtually unlimited numbers of potential work sites on any linear asset. Infor EAM includes dynamic
segmentation in linear asset functionality, meaning that you can “segment” an asset ad hoc. This occurs when you write a
work order against a new portion of a linear asset.
The key resides in the costing side of asset performance management. You can generate costing information that looks at
maintenance costs only from point A to point B. The system will then retrieve the costs for all work orders whose portions
or points reside in the specified segment. If a work item resides only partly in the specified segment, the system will
automatically allocate the costs for that segment only.
Linear asset functionality does not require GIS, although it does include several important GIS interface features. The
most significant addition to GIS operations is the ability to specify a portion of a linear asset and execute a search in GIS
based on the portion and not the entire asset. This greatly simplifies operations by narrowing the scope of such GIS
searches.
Module features
Module feature Description of features
Work Order Generation and In the work management module, work requests are manually generated by request or automatically generated by the system
Scheduling (planned work orders). After appropriate screening and authorization, requests become approved work orders and are
dispatched for action. A standard work order library simplifies initiation of frequently performed work.
With the work management module, you can perform the following tasks:
Schedule non-routine maintenance for asset breakdowns, capital work, and asset relocation. Infor EAM allows you to enter work
order detail information even after the work is completed.
Work Order Daily Scheduling
Generate standing work orders for routine or lubrication work including routing for efficient execution
Set up routine, preventive maintenance based on fixed calendar dates, meter readings, fixed or changing frequencies depending
on thresholds, and dormant periods
Track claims and warranties at activity and work order level
Easily initiate frequently performed work orders
Call Center With the Call Center operators can receive and record calls from customers/employees reporting potential issues with property
or assets. A resulting work order can then be created to address the issue, if necessary. If the Work Order would be completed
by a third party, a service delivery matrix can be configured to assign the appropriate contractor. A Bulletin Board and a
Knowledge Based repository can be configured to provide operators with real-time information of enterprise events that are of
interest to callers. The call center is also integrated with our GIS mapping module to allow geospatial tagging of service requests.
Deferred Maintenance With Deferred Maintenance you may postpone work on a piece of equipment. Also, activities in a work order may be identified as
Deferred. If an activity is deferred the rest of the work order activities are unaffected and will still need to go through the lifecycle
and be completed as normal. The deferred activity will remain on the work order, and are also placed in the deferred activity
queue o be picked at a later time to finish that activity.
Crews Employees may be added to Crews; thereafter you may Book Labor and Schedule Labor of Crews in a Work Order.
Routes Routes can be added to sequence the work of multiple work orders and PM work orders.
Multi-asset When performing the same task to multiple assets you may create a Work Order for all the desired assets. When booking Labor
Work Order to this Work Order the system can automatically prorate the time and costs between all the assets affected.
Maintenance Patterns Maintenance Patterns allow you to define a schedule of predefined jobs, which have a pre-determined sequence, and are
serially generated for a selected list of assets. This pattern identifies when a job should occur, how the system should generate
Work Orders for the Maintenance Pattern and whether the resulting Maintenance Work Order generation is based primarily on a
time interval, on a meter interval (i.e.: vehicle miles) or both.
Maintenance Campaigns Campaigns tracks the work performed for a specific project. Examples are a project to replace a part that has been recalled or a
project to retrofit a train. Campaigns usually have two phases: the first phase is an impact analysis of what assets are affected
and the second phase performs the desired activities on those assets.
Reliability You can configure Infor EAM to calculate cumulative Weibull and Laplace probability failure distributions. You can graph the
shape and scale in a Reliability Chart, a Failure Chart, a Probability Density Chart or a Hazard Chart
Revision Control When activated revision control will make sure that changes go through a proper change management process. This includes
creating a new revision of the entity which only becomes active, i.e. supersedes the current revision, after it is approved by one
or more assigned users. Revision control can be applied to PM Schedules, Routes, Task Plans and Material Lists.
Materials Organization Use the materials management module to track and control reservations, requisitions, allocations, issues, receipts, returns and
repairs for all parts and materials needed for work orders.
With the materials management module, you can perform the following tasks:
Record inventory and manage stock levels
Create purchase requisitions
Organize important information such as receipts, repairable spares, and supplier information
Track material demand plus usage and cost information
Create master files for better materials organization. For example, you might have a parts catalog outlining specific
information. In this catalog, you can include part descriptions and codes, units of measure, pricing details, preferred supplier,
alternative parts and compatibility rating, stock details, and repair details.
Stock Replenishment Infor EAM provides three stock replenishment methods: min/max, reorder level, and on-demand. Set the stock replenishment
method for parts in stock as necessary to specify the way stock parts are reordered when you generate requisitions and/or
purchase orders.
Stores Issues and Returns The materials management module makes it easy to issue parts to stores and return goods. Coordinate issues and returns
according to physical assets, work orders, repairable spares, pick lists, or scrap, decommissioned, or retired materials. With
enhanced pick list functionality, you can issue materials against a pick list more than once (partial issues) and return materials
against the list. Pick lists can also be subject to approval so items can only be issued after the list has been approved. Easily
re-allocate unused direct materials to other work orders. Infor EAM first issues the requested parts from the warehouse and
then re-allocates any remaining parts from the work order.
Recording Stock-take Record stock-take to identify discrepancies between expected on-hand inventory and physical inventory count. Create stock-
take lists according to part, store, location, or stock type. You can also incorporate cyclical counting, stock matching,
adjustments, and stock evaluations.
Goods Receipt and Return Organize receipt of goods by recording from/to details, purchase order matching, lot (batch) numbers, and approval codes.
When returning goods, record purchase order/RMA matching, store-to-store details, and store-to-supplier details.
With on-dock receipt, you can inspect goods for quality immediately upon arrival and then receive them against a purchase
order on the loading dock instead of waiting until they reach the storeroom. You can then receive individual parts into stores or
transfer them directly to the warehouse that requested them. You can also immediately return any faulty goods.
Parts Condition Infor EAM allows you to track and utilize parts which have different conditions (i.e.: new vs. used), adjusting the inventory
valuation accordingly
Parts Inspections Record part inspections on items before they are received into inventory. A part inspection may be required for incoming items
by selecting it on inspection, Requisition, or Purchase Orders time. Part Inspections records who performed the inspection and
when the inspection was performed as well as the Inspected Quantity, Rejected Quantity, and Reason for Return. Infor EAM
will require a Part Inspection to be recorded before an item may be received into inventory if the Part Inspection flag is set for
an item.
Part Failures You may record the reason why a Part has failed. Part Failures are added to our reliability calculations. Statistical analysis,
which includes failure analysis, helps determine the failure pattern for the piece of equipment on the work order, based on the
part location on the equipment. After the analysis is performed, you can determine if scheduled inspections and overhauls are
needed.
Part Warranties Infor EAM alerts users when a part is affected that is still under warranty. Infor EAM also assists with the creation of the
Warranty Claim process.
Module features
Module features Description of features
Purchase Requisition With the purchasing management module, you can create purchase requisitions manually or automatically when inventory drops
Generation below minimum stock levels. Generate requisitions for approval or to transfer requisitions to purchase order processing.
Requests for Quotations Quotations are requests to suppliers for prices on parts and services.
With the purchase management module, you can perform the following tasks:
Create Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and quotation updates
Track RFQ status
Select and evaluate suppliers
Create purchase orders
Purchase Orders Create purchase orders for immediate needs from purchase requisitions, from a low-stock items record, or from RFQs.
The purchasing management module supports the following elements:
Service catalog for frequently used requirements
Blanket order and release capabilities with full header information and line items for materials and services
Connection of line items to physical assets
Contract clause library and status tracking
Change Orders for existing purchase orders
Budget management
The budget management module automates the budget creation process and the subsequent capture, supervision, control, and analysis of the expenditures
associated with maintenance work. Infor EAM budgeting links the financial structure of your enterprise with its organizational structure and the physical asset
hierarchies. Budget management allows you to establish budget account codes and align them with corporate policies and business objectives. The budget
management module allows you to calculate a variety of financial and performance indicators. The analysis of expenditures serves as input to critical performance
indicators that managers often use to judge the operation’s performance and to determine improvement opportunities.
Module features
Module features Description of features
Budget Organization In any organization, it is important to plan, monitor, control, and analyze the costs associated with asset management and
maintenance. Most management teams use budget management to anticipate and manage costs associated with a fiscal year or
period. Budgets can be divided into several different hierarchies, including expenditure types, organizational departments,
equipment structures, and periods. The expenditure connected with maintenance work is often projected and tracked through
these subgroups. The amount of detail used in planning and tracking maintenance work is determined by the analysis and
reporting requirements of each individual organization.
The budget management module helps you establish budgets and capture all costs related to maintenance expenditures for
specific, user-defined time periods. Infor EAM budgeting enables the creation of hierarchical budget account codes by
Inspection management
The inspection management module coordinates with the work management and asset management modules to give you more control over planned PM functions
within your organization. Infor EAM inspection management simplifies the formation of inspection routes, the specific measurement points on each asset, the
aspects to be measured, and the collation of results. Inspections then link with the asset management and work management modules for the listing and creation
of work orders.
As physical assets become more complex and resources become scarcer, new types of maintenance work are required to ensure that these assets continue to
perform their intended function. Inspection, sometimes called detective maintenance, verifies the efficient performance of a physical asset’s individual functions,
especially those functions that cannot be observed during normal operation (e.g., motor vibration or oil viscosity). Predictive maintenance uses condition-
monitoring techniques to measure certain inspection aspects of an asset (e.g., oil viscosity or wall thickness), which give insight into its physical condition and
health. Inspections and predictive maintenance are important ways to ensure that assets meet safety, quality, environmental integrity, and performance
requirements. At a typical site, the multitude of physical assets and the variety of possible failure modes and condition-monitoring techniques provide a significant
challenge to the efficient implementation of an inspection management program.
Module features
Module features Description of features
Inspection Planning and The inspection management module records data on a physical asset’s current condition and helps forecast its future
Organization condition. This module creates inspection routes, identifies measurement points, defines inspection aspects, and records
results. Infor EAM automatically analyzes the inspection results and then generates a work order covering the appropriate
corrective action if an inspection generates a result outside critical values. Additionally, if inspection results show a trend
towards a breach of the tolerance limits prior to the next scheduled inspection, an intermediate inspection will be automatically
recommended. Infor EAM also forecasts the date when the tolerance and critical values are likely to be reached.
With the inspection management module, you can perform the following tasks:
Hazards Identify hazards, like falling, and associate pre-defined precautions to these hazards. Hazards are under revision control to
prevent unauthorized changes.
Precautions Identify precautions. For example, wear a safety harness to prevent falling. Precautions are under revision control to prevent
unauthorized changes.
Safety On the Safety tab you can identify a hazard and the associated precaution. The Safety tab can be found on many screens
including equipment, parts, preventive maintenance, standard work order and of course the work order and permit to work
screens. All screens support a review process to prevent unauthorized changes.
Isolation Points Identify isolation points where a motor needs to be detached from the electrical power or where a valve needs to be closed.
Isolation points are under revision control to prevent unauthorized changes.
Lock-out and Tag-out With Lock-out / Tag-out (LOTO) you setup the procedure that must be followed for a successful and safe isolation of
equipment from its energy sources. The LOTO tab can be found on the equipment and permit to work screen. On the
equipment screen you can setup multiple different procedures to support different types of work on the same equipment. All
screens support a review process to prevent unauthorized changes to the procedure.
Lockout Boxes Define lockout boxes that can be used during the lockout / tag-out process to store keys and keep the technicians safe from
unauthorized removal of applied locks.
Permit to Work Setup This function allows you to define the maximum duration of a permit to work. You also specify a maximum for the duration of
any extension, if needed, and how many extensions are allowed.
Permit Define permits. Permits can best be described as permit to work templates. Once you have defined the permit you can
associate it to many entities on the Permits tab. This tab can be found on many screens including equipment, preventive
maintenance, and standard work order and of course the work order screens. All screens support a review process to prevent
unauthorized changes. Permits attached to the work order can automatically generate a permit to work if requested.
Permit to Work The permit to work function is the core of the Safety Management module. It brings together all the above concepts into one
screen that supports the complete workflow of the permit to work from inception, to approval, activation and closing. Electronic
signatures and an electronic archive that tracks status changes and any signature provided are fully integrated and so is an
event log that tracks the most important changes to the document. Safety records and the relevant lock-out / tag-out procedure
are automatically copied from the relevant entities, including equipment and the work order.

Fuel Management Fuel Management consists of several functions that together help you keep track of your fuel inventory and consumption:
Depot – Define the fuel depots you have that are used to refuel your equipment. Depots include the definition of tanks and
pumps.
Fuel – Define the different types of fuel you use in your equipment. Regular gas, diesel, etc.
Fuel Receipts – Receipts of a fuel in a depot will add to the fuel quantity on hand in that depot
Fuel Physical Inventory – Similar to a cycle count this verifies if the administration and the reality are in sync and let you correct
any discrepancies.
Fuel Issues – Issue fuel from a depot to equipment. This also includes optional entry of the odometer reading.
Energy performance
Infor EAM allows you to baseline, monitor, and compare the energy performance of your assets, calculating the energy intensity consumed by your assets.
Support for green building standards like Energy Star, ASHRAE 90.1 and LEED. Infor EAM provides you with full compliance with the International Energy
Performance standards (ISO 14001). Monitor energy performance on all forms of energy: WAGES (water, air, gas, electricity and steam). Calculate CO2 emissions
in accordance to the WRI GHG and ASHRE. Establish and monitor your corporate energy strategy, goals and objectives in accordance with ISO 15001.
Utility Bill Just knowing how much energy is consumed by an asset does not mean much until you also apply costs. For that reason
Infor EAM collects the utility bill and derives the utility rate from that bill. Actual consumption multiplied by utility rate is
energy cost. Simple math but almost never converged into the maintenance strategy.
Green House Gases Define greenhouse gases and associate these to the energy consumption of your operation. Based on the utility bills
entered emissions will be calculated. Individual emissions of your equipment, providing energy consumption is tracked,
can be reported as well.
Equivalency Evaluation Base replacement decisions on the ‘complete picture’. Mostly replacement decisions are solely based on maintenance
(PM and breakdown) costs. Including equipment operational costs like energy consumption into the equation leads to a
more complete picture and may cause equipment not ready for replacement based on the maintenance costs alone to
become a replacement candidate due to the operational cost difference with the replacement equipment.
Energy Alerts The following alerts are energy performance related and are pre-configured in Infor EAM: power factor, peak demand,
phase unbalance, utility invoice audit and missing utility invoices
Energy Star Integration Energy consumption data is automatically uploaded to Portfolio Manager.
Temperature normalization Infor EAM calculates the energy intensity of your buildings normalized by temperature
Work Orders On the work order screen you can also manually initiate an eRecord and an associated eSignature by manually clicking
the eSignature icon. Changes to the work order data after an eRecord is created for that work order generally clear the
signature data, meaning a new signature may be required.
Other eSignature screens Several other screens within the Infor EAM application offer eRecords and eSignature functionality. These include the
permit to work screen and the calibration and checklist tabs of the work order screen.
eRecords All screens that support eRecords and eSignatures also have an eRecords tab where all eRecords can be viewed and
selected for reporting.
Reliability Ranking Create one or more reliability ranking codes. Each code has an associated reliability decision tree, which offers up to 4
hierarchical levels. The lowest level in the tree is the so-called question level. Each question can be associated with a set of user-
defined answers, i.e. multiple-choice. All answers are associated to a numerical value, which is used in the user defined formulas
that are associated to the different levels of the tree. The outcome of the formula is obviously a numerical value. This value in turn
rolls up to the formula on the higher level in the tree, either directly (formula outcome as calculated) or via a translation from
outcome ranges to a specific numerical value. On the highest level in the tree ultimately this results in the reliability ranking score.
This numerical score is also translated into a reliability ranking index. Ranges of reliability ranking scores can be associated to a
reliability ranking index.
Reliability Survey The assets, positions and systems screens have a reliability ranking details on the record view where you can select the
applicable reliability ranking code. In this section the current score and reliability ranking index are also displayed.
On the Reliability Survey tab on all three screens you can answer the questions associated to the selected reliability ranking code
and determine the reliability ranking score and index for the equipment.
Batch Update Survey Rather than applying the survey to a single equipment record, on this screen you can enter the survey and apply it to multiple
selected equipment records at once.
RCM Study The assets, positions, systems and locations screens have an RCM details section that lets you select the type of RCM study you
want to do and the resulting risk level. On the RCM tab on all four screens you can enter functions, failure modes, functional
failures and consequences that together determine the risk level of the equipment.
Reliability Calculations Everyday all completed work orders are automatically analyzed and reliability numbers are calculated for the associated assets
and positions based on the individual work order history. The results are stored in the historical reliability table which is used for a
variety of reports. The following reliability numbers are calculated:
MTBF
Minimum number of days between events
Maximum number of days between events
Standard Deviation
Last slope (linear regression) through the last two events
Average slope (linear regression)
Laplace time series analysis
Weibull probability distribution
Alert management
Alert Management is a function in Infor EAM that can search the database for specific data and then send email or create work orders based on the analysis and
interpretation of that data. You can use Alert Management to notify you of high energy consumption, equipment conditions like vibration or temperatures, and you
can use it to support your work flow (notify an approver there are work request awaiting approval), escalation (notify a supervisor the that same request has been
waiting for approval for more than a week), etc. Alerts run at a predefined frequency, so they are ideal for anything that does not need immediate action. This way
Alert Management is complementing the E-Mail Messenger function of Infor EAM that only supports event driven (synchronous) emails.
User Defined Grids The alert management function uses the user defined grid function of Infor EAM and as such can search for any data available in
or accessible to the EAM database, whether native or not.
Alert Management Define an alert using any of your predefined user defined grids. Specify a frequency in which you want the alert to run, e.g. once
a week, twice an hour, etc. Once you have defined the grid to be used on the alert you can create additional Dataspies (queries)
to further limit the data you want to alert on. Other features of the Alert Management function include:
Create a work order for every alert record found, based on an assigned standard work order.
Send an email for every alert record found, based on an assigned email template. Note: you can have an alert do both actions:
create a work order and send an email.
Before and after the alert you can run specific logic. For example, before the alert runs, prepare records for the alert by
populating a temporary table with data. Then after the alert has run, remove the records from this temporary table. There are
obviously lots of other possible uses for this powerful feature.
Build in a delay feature. If an alert finds a condition that requires an email or a work order, obviously the next time that alert runs,
it may find the same condition, especially if the interval between runs is short. To avoid repetitive emails or work orders for the
same issue a delay can be configured that stops the alert from issuing for a defined amount of time.
On the history tab you can find the history of email and work orders created by the alert.
