I. Description:
This course provides an introduction to methods of statistical analysis and the basic features of
descriptive statistics covering basic statistical concepts, principles and methods in the collection,
organization, presentation, analysis and interpretation of qualitative and quantitative data as applied to
research. This course emphasizes both the concepts and the procedures.
General
The aim of this course is help students acquire deeper understanding of statistical
concepts and to develop analytical and mathematical skills in order to solve problems or analyze
and evaluate numerical information resulting from research or surveys.
