improves the quality of the bag by using their passion and enhancing their imagination
for the design. In order to create a bag, its main requirement is making bags from used
clothes or others things which you could be able to use in order to create an amazing
bags which is having good quality and less cost-effective especially if it’s waterproof.
This project is possible and could be accomplished by anyone. In creating this project
there would be no rubrics because through with this we could be able to improve our
passion and dedication. The DIY bags serve essential processes in which we could be
able to restore those invaluable things into much significant materials. We all know that
each and every one of us improve physically and we attempt to change our daily clothes
into a much larger one if our body undergoes development. We do have many clothes
that are not fitted for us anymore. Technically speaking we could be able to restore and
reuse that in a much effective way by making DIY bags or other materials that we could

it is just a simple creation of cost-effective bags.
This DIY project has a major contribution especially for those persons living at a poor

because we do not know if our project would be like by everyone correspondingly it
helps us to divert our attention and drown out the noise in your environment that we
have had. Also, it is helpful for youths and adults because it could relieve their stress
and problems, like stressful assignments, financial issues, news, or events beyond our
control. It helps us to reduce our stress and improves our mood by means of making
money, with that, we could be able to buy those things that we aspire. Moreover, it lets
us concentrate to improve ourselves and our future, we could plan ahead, work with our
hands to be dexterity, and experience the liberating feeling of producing something on
our own. It allows us to stay in a positive mood and be more active.
The beneficiaries of this project are aged seven (8) to seventeen (17) years old though
it is applicable to all ages. This will help elementary and high school students to be

we could inspire those students and be trained on restoring old kinds of stuff and
transforming it into a much valuable material. It serves as a way of having their own

works. Correspondingly those out of youth could also ascend their life if they are skilled

IX. Procedure
Step 1: Gather all the tools and material needed for this project. In this project we need scissor,
marker, cotton yarn, blade, and needle.
Step 2: Cut out the old clothes. Cut a piece 40" long by 20" broad, folded in half, for the bag
itself. Cut a piece 10" wide x 12" long for the pocket, or two if you want a pocket on both sides;
we can also leave the pocket out entirely if you like.
Step 3: Finish the Pocket's Top and Bottom. We need to finish the top and bottom edges the 10
inches before we can attach the pocket to the bag long edges to keep them from fraying. We're
going to do this with a 1/2 wide doubled "Hem is double-folded and wide. Pressing them into
place before sewing is the easiest method to achieve this.
Step 4: We can now transfer our fabric to our ironing board and fold the cloth's edge over to
meet the line we drew. With the iron, press this fold.
Step 6: Fold one more so that the raw edge is hidden. At the first fold's edge, the fabric should
naturally desire to bend. With the iron again, create a precise 1/2" wide double fold. Secure the
hem with pins every few inches if desired. Then reverse the process on the opposite side of the
pocket.
Step 7: Return to our sewing machine and make sure it's threaded with the same color thread as
our pocket cloth, or use contrasting thread like I did above. Sew around 1/8" from the inside
folded edge of one of the hems, locking our stitches on both ends with a stitch length of roughly
3.

Step 8: Sew the Pocket in Place. Locate the center point on the bottom hem of our pocket with
our ruler and pin it in place. Take the body of our bag, which is a huge folded piece of fabric.
Make small creases in the fabric by pressing it together with your fingertips at the folded
corners.
Step 9: Remove the pins and unfold the fabric; the creases that mark the cloth's centre on both
sides should still be visible. Make a little mark with chalk or a vanishing pen on each one. Place
our pocket in the fabric's center, 4" up from the pin marks on one side.
Step 14: Attach the binding to the side seams using pins.
