II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The project is a creation of a DIY bag from recycled materials. The project helps u students to be
creative on what materials we are going to use and how are we going to use it. It will use different skills
that will be helpful to the community and ourselves. DIY bags are commonly used for donations and for
personal use. It is important that we engage in these activities o that we can help in the community.

III. PROJECT RATIONALE

This DIY Bag project is important because we want to help the community and the environment.
Instead of throwing unused cloths or old t-shirt, we could make bags out of it that we can ue in our
everyday lives. It is important that we know creative activities because it helps our skills to develop and it
helps the community.

IV. PROJECT BENEFICIARIES

The beneficiaries of this project is the community and the environment because it includes
creativity and donation as well as reusing materials.

PROJECT ATTACHMENT/S

Step 1: Cut the cloth into a two piece - rectagular shape (22inx16in) and then sew them together.

Step 2: Turn the bag inside out ad sew it again with the same pattern at the outside.

Step 3: Create the handles by cutting a cloth with the size of 25inx4in and fold it into a smaller rectangular
shape. Sew the folds so that it will secure the handle

Step 4: Clip the handles into the bag and mark where you will be sewing

Step 5: Sew the handles together with the bag
