II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The nature of this project is under the “Care for Health” of the SERVICE component of Mapúa CWTS. The

routines that are easy to follow which will allow them to live said healthy lifestyles.

III. PROJECT RATIONALE A

The main objective of this project is to enhance the overall health and well-being of the community by
providing resources and knowledge about healthy living. The aim is to make healthy living accessible to all
members of the community, regardless of their age, ability, or socio-economic status.

One of the significant challenges faced by many people in achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle is
a lack of access to resources and information. Many individuals may not have the financial means to
afford a gym membership or personal training, or may not know where to find reliable information about
healthy habits and routines. This project aims to address these issues by offering a range of free or low-
cost fitness and wellness programs and resources to the community.

A significant aspect of the project is to offer group fitness classes, such as zumba, yoga, and strength
training, at various locations throughout the community. These classes will be led by me, who has been
into fitness for a few years now and has researched various healthy routines and implemented them into
my own lifestyle. The workouts will be tailored to accommodate different fitness levels and abilities. The
goal is to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals can engage in physical activity
and improve their overall fitness.

Another essential component of the project is to provide access to resources and information about
healthy habits and routines. This may include creating a website or social media presence with tips and
resources, distributing informational materials at events and community centers, and partnering with local
organizations to promote health and wellness.

The project also aims to engage and involve the community in all aspects of the program. This may
include soliciting input and feedback from community members on the types of fitness classes and
educational workshops they would like to see offered, as well as encouraging community involvement in
the planning and execution of events and activities.

In conclusion, the goal of this project is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where
individuals can learn about and engage in healthy habits and routines, and to make healthy living
accessible and attainable for all members of the community. By promoting physical activity, education,
and access to resources, this project aims to improve the health and well-being of individuals and the
community as a whole.

IV. PROJECT BENEFICIARIES

The project is primarily geared towards the community of Pandacan, Manila. It aims to provide resources
and knowledge to people of all ages who want to make a change in their lifestyle, but may face various
barriers that prevent them from doing so. These barriers may include lack of access to resources, financial
constraints, or lack of knowledge or information about healthy habits and routines. It is designed to be
inclusive of all members of the community, regardless of age, ability, or socio-economic status. The goal
is to empower individuals to take control of their health and well-being, and to create a supportive and
inclusive environment where individuals can learn about and engage in healthy habits and routines.
