II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Mental Health Awareness Campaign for College Students is an online initiative to educate and engage
college students on mental health issues. The campaign promotes mental wellness and aims to reduce
mental health stigma through various online platforms, including an instructional video. The video will
provide practical strategies for managing stress, prioritizing mental health, empowering students to seek
help, and promoting mental wellness on campus. The video will be shared widely online, encouraging a
supportive community of individuals looking to prioritize their mental health.

III. PROJECT RATIONALE

Mental health is an essential aspect of a person's overall well-being. Unfortunately, a stigma surrounding
mental health issues still prevents people from seeking the help they need. College students, in particular,
are vulnerable to mental health problems due to academic pressure, social isolation, and other stressors.
This project aims to promote mental health awareness and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health
issues among high school and college students.

IV. PROJECT BENEFICIARIES

The goal of the Mental Health Awareness Campaign for College Students is to help high school and
college students who may be experiencing mental health problems but lack the information or resources
to manage them properly. Students will have access to various mental health resources, support
networks, and educational materials through the campaign's online platforms, enabling them to maintain
excellent mental well-being.

Also, the campaign aims to lessen the stigma associated with mental health problems, frequently
discouraging students from getting the treatment they require. The program aims to encourage students
to take an active part in their mental health and call out for support when needed by encouraging a
culture of mental wellness on campus. Students who acquire the knowledge, abilities, and consent
required to maintain excellent mental health and lead healthy, satisfying lives will ultimately benefit from
the Mental Health Awareness Campaign for College Students.

V. PROJECT OBJECTIVES

• To raise awareness about mental health and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues.
• To provide students with information and resources on mental health.
• To encourage students to seek help when needed and promote self-care practices.
