II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

"Coping with the Pandemic" is a health and stress management seminar that teaches us about common
mental health problems and how to respond to them. The seminar teaches people how to pinpoint
warning signs for complex mental health problems such as cyberbullying, trauma, PTSD, and
anxiety/depression, as well as how to reduce the stigma associated with mental health problems. By
teaching them beneficial methods, techniques, and coping mechanisms for dealing with stress and overall
mental well-being, you can assist them in taking care of their mental health, which is especially important
in this pandemic. By teaching resilience and positive thinking strategies, as well as resources for
maintaining a healthy work-life balance, our national mental health training programs provide workers
with an efficient and successful way to manage their mental health and stress.

III. PROJECT RATIONALE

Numerous people these days have been affected not only physically, emotionally, and spiritually, but also
mentally, by the pandemic's effects. Mental health issues arise, and some people are unaware that they
are suffering from them. With unawareness at play, it would be difficult for an individual to understand
what he or she is going through. This Mental Health and Stress Management seminar will provide an
opportunity for people to find answers to their concerns and learn how to cope with them.

IV. PROJECT BENEFICIARIES

Adult students, parents, and even barangay leaders over the age of 18 will be the project's beneficiaries.
We believe that learning comes from all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds, which will undoubtedly
help them manage their mental health even at a young age. They will gain knowledge how to feel more
comfortable and confident talking about their mental health as adults, as well as how to respond when
certain mental health problems arise, such as anxiety, depression, or even addiction. Because every
barangay requires great leaders, barangay officials and students can serve as a role model not only for
their own families, but also for the rest of the community.
