INTRODUCTION
Ragging is any disorderly conduct whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has
the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness to any student , indulging in rowdy or
undisciplined activities which cause or likely to cause annoyance, hardship or psychological
harm or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in a fresher or a junior student and which has the
effect of causing or generating a sense of shame or embarrassment so as to adhesively affect the
psyche of a fresher or a junior student.

AIM
To ensure that the campus is free of ragging

OBJECTIVES
1. To create awareness regarding ragging and its impact on an individual.
2. To ensure that the students are aware regarding various forms of ragging.
3. To create awareness regarding the anti-ragging policies and disciplinary actions that
could be taken.

SEXUAL HARRASSMENT COMMITTEE
INTRODUCTION
It is the duty of the employer or other responsible persons in work places or other institutions to
prevent or deter the commissions of acts of sexual harassment and to provide the procedures for
the resolutions, settlement or prosecutions of acts of sexual harassment by taking all steps
required.
Sexual Harassment includes such unwelcome sexually determined behavior (whether directly or
by implication) as:
a) Physical contact & advances.
b) A demand or request for sexual favors.
c) Sexually colored remarks.
d) Showing pornography.
e) Any other unwelcomed physical, verbal or non-verbal conduct of sexual nature.
AIM
To promote and maintain a zero-tolerance workplace violence.
OBJECTIVES

INTRODUCTION
Nursing education comprises of teaching ethics to the students so as to prepare them as
