Business Opportunities for the Family

You have been asked by your parents to look for a future business. It is in order for your family to
maintain your family’s financial health especially during this time of pandemic. As a Bookkeeping
student, you should know the appropriate business which will suit to your family’s interests and skills.
Like for example, if there are members in your family who know how to cook food, you can start a service
business such as small eatery or restaurant. In line with this, you can discuss them the different types of
business activities that you have learned. You need to research and prepare a good output for your
presentation of business activities to your family. A scrapbook will be suited which will consist of the
compilation of your data gathered. Your scrapbook should be consisting of the different types of business
activities. These are namely; service operations, merchandising operations and manufacturing operations.
It should include five (5) examples for each type of business activities. You will be evaluated according to
Presentation and Organization, Creativity, Accuracy and Relevance of the Content, and Originality.
