1 REASON FOR VISIT

According to the request of VSL. Alarm Monitoring system was out of service.
2 FOUND FAILURES AND ACTIONS TAKEN
In first step all system checked and found out that:
-Bridge computer of Alarm Monitoring does not receive any data from Diesel generators and Main
engines.
Bridge monitor
-AFT computer case is faulty and out of service and it does not turn on. Power supply checked,
connections checked and found that the computer is faulty and need to be landed to service and
repaire.
-Also FWD computer case is faulty and need to be landed to service and repaire.

-InteliGen marine module on STBD engine panel is faulty and need to repaire and service if it is
possible, also its fault couses to prevent data transfer between STBD main engine and bridge
computer of Alarm Monitoring system.
Faulty Inteligen marine module
-There are some faults in Modbus connections and Modbus units that needed to be checked.
-LAN connections between FWD and Bridge alarm monitoring system, suddenly loses their
connections and its protocol is not proper for this system.
-The PLC units (AFT and FWD) does not work properly and for more tests and fault finding it need
to be landed to Diaco Pars Co.
PLC units
It recommended, FWD and AFT alarm monitoring computers, PLC units of AFT and FWD panels,
faulty intelliGen module of STBD main engine and inteliGen module of PORT main engine with its
analogue card land to Diaco Pars Co. to more tests, fault finding and repaire.
All sensors of system need to be tested and calibrate.
System need to be test after repaire and above actions.
