This letter is to inform you that your child has been selected to participate in an ICT
club. The ICT club has been set up specifically to allow pupils to use their ICT skills
in real life contexts with genuine customers of the ICT product they produce. Your
child displays high levels of motivation and enthusiasm for ICT, therefore they have
been approached to be a part of the ICT club.

The schools fishing club has secured a grant to pay for the publication of website the
ICT club creates. Your child will work as a part of a team who will take the initial
design ideas to the final product. They will learn how to assess the needs of the
customer and how to use programming code to create webpages.

The club will run every Tuesday from the 24 th April to the 9th of July from 3pm to
4pm in ICTCO. If you would like your child to attend the club, please complete the
permission below and give this to Mrs Gould by Tuesday 24th April 2013.
