Assessment Activities:
Research on the different emergency response agencies and their respective contact
numbers. Include those at the national level, as well as the emergency contacts within your
own barangay/city/municipality. Create a compilation of these and present in a simple but
creative manner (e.g., pubmats, short video < 1min, etc.). The goal is to be able to share
these emergency numbers to others via social media or other means.
This activity may be done by pair or by triad. One output per group is expected.
Deadline: One week after the first day of the module (Deadline Date)
Rubrics: This output is worth 30% of the module components. Each item is worth 1 point
each, for a total of 10 points. The passing score is 6 points (60%).

Answer the following questions. Your response will be recorded but not graded. You are
encouraged to share with your other classmates to have a discussion going.
● In your own words, what is first aid? What is the goal of first aid?
● Why is performing a visual survey so important? How does situational analysis work
hand in hand with first aid?
● Think of mnemonics or ways to easily remember the steps/protocols in first aid, and
in techniques such as CPR, etc. Share them with the class.
