This was part of the month long observance of SAKSHAM for conservation awareness efforts.

Session 1: Participants were introduced to team building and empathy building skills through an
interactive game and exercise to understand creative thinking which involved problem solving
and design thinking

Session 2: The participants were given a problem statement which was a part of design thinking
sprint. Brainstorming and mind mapping techniques were explained and training was given to
arrive at solutions.

Mr. Pahuja threw light on the basics of risk and risk management. He discussed the various types
of risks that need to be handled by the company for decisions that are not only strategic but also
day to day. He gave examples from his real corporate life experience of some of his clients to

reduce their risk.

hydrogen gas filled balloons being flown to mark the occasion.

APL’19 witnessed registration of 10 Teams from various batches {2002-04,2003-05,2004-
06,2005-07,2008-10,2010-12,2011-13,2013-15,2014-16 & 2015-17}.
Brief
Final APL’19 match between the Team Daredevils (2004-06/05-07) v/s Team Royal Striker
(2013-15) was truly spectacular.
Team Daredevils Vice-Captain Alumni Farhan scored the match wining 57 runs in just 28
balls and helped the veterans to win the title of APL’19 by 40 runs. Kudos, to all the participating
teams from batches 2002-04, 2003-05, 2004-06, 2005-07,2010-12, 2011-13 and other alumni,
for the tough fight given to their respective opponents. It was a great start to the cricketing season
of 2019.
In addition to the Winner and Runner’s up team prizes, the following players were awarded for
the outstanding performance in the league.

Participants were provided with hands-on learning using experiential learning activity and tests/
instrument.
The program was structured into three sessions covering three theme areas.
Session 1: Personality identification toolkit – This session focused on learning about the
different personality types and Personality profiling using pencil psychometric test.
Session 2: Creativity- This session covered Creativity, Innovation and parallel thinking.
How creativity brings freshness to the business. It also highlighted about developing creativity
in terms of inculcating a culture of innovation, accepting change and developing high
competence.
Session 3: Goal Setting- This session highlighted the purpose of setting a goal with an activity
/small exercise. It also highlighted what Google’s OKR framework is all about, how to
implement this OKR framework by giving an example of Google.

Corporate Mentoring at NDIM


Each student is attached to an industry mentor under this programme. Industry mentors
connect NDIM students to the practical world of reality and guide them to real life corporate
culture and success skills. This unique initiative at NDIM prepares students for leadership roles
