INTRODUCTION:
Industrial visits are usually the first point of interaction between a student and a
live working industry. The students learn about the latest technology trend and
make up their minds about their future job or area of interest. An industrial visit
is an educational tour that allows students to see the inner workings of an
organization.

These visits are a standard part of engineering and MBA courses. They help
students to:

 Understand real-world problems


 See operations, workstations, plants, machines, and assembly lines
 Meet experienced professionals
 Combine theoretical knowledge with practical knowledge
 Learn about the latest technology trends
 Make decisions about their future job or area of interest

ORGANZATION HISTORY :
 The Times of India came into being on November 3, 1838 and was known
as "The Bombay Times and Journal of Commerce". Initially the paper
served only the British residents of western India. Published twice a week
on every Saturday and Wednesday, The Bombay Time sand Journal of
Commerce contained news from Europe, America and the sub- continent
and was circulated between India and Europe via regular steamships. From
the year 1850 the daily editions of the paper were started and
the newspaper got its present name in 1861
 In the 19th century, the company employed over 800 people and had a
good circulation in India and Europe. The Times of India was originally
British-owned and controlled. Ivor S. Jehuwas its last British editor, who
left the editorship in 1950. After India's Independence in 1947,the
ownership of the paper was passed on to the industrial family of Dalmiyas
and later it was over by Sahu Shanti Prasad Jain of the Sahu Jain group
from Bijnore of Uttar Pradesh.

international standards, emphasizing continuous improvement and
information with close source.
 They are deliver relevant information for the customer.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

 The industrial visit to Times Of India was an enriching experience.


We were impressed by the company's commitment to excellence
and adherence to global standards in the production of
Newspapers.

 The dedication of the workforce was evident throughout the visit.


The emphasis on deliver news, including the sports, cinema news
how they approach those news are seen by us. The informative the
company representatives provided valuable insights into their
operations and values.

 Overall, the visit was educational and eye-opening, offering a


deeper understanding of the steel manufacturing industry and the
importance of quality and responsible sourcing. We would like to
express our gratitude to the employees of Times Of India Ltd for
their warm hospitality and for sharing their expertise with us. It
was a memorable and enlightening visit.

CONCLUSION:
 Here by, I conclude that visiting The Times of India has been a great
learning for me. The company proves to be a major leading company in the
industry of News Paper.

 One of the futures of The Times of India is that the management is very
hard working so the management process is very strong. They are give
ratification to their customer.

 The overall environment of the company is healthy and peaceful, which


makes its production much faster and easier.

 I am sure it will run on the path of success
