OVERNIGHT TRIP

ABOUT THE LOCATION

Enjoy camping in the desert. Escape the bustle of Cairo and spend an overnight trip in
Fayoum oasis exploring so many spots. The trip will combine activities like camping,
stargazing, sandboarding, hiking, cruising, and everything in between for students to
choose from. Students are going to visit Tunis Village; an amazing place overlooking the
oasis of Fayoum and is primarily known for its famous pottery school and ceramic arts.
Students are also going to visit Wadi Hitan National Park and Fossils Museum where they
are going to learn about the Walking Whales and observe different fossils and skeletons.
Moreover, students are going to enjoy sand boarding at the Magic Lake and will have
their overnight camp at Qusoor El Arab Camp in Wadi ElRayan, the home of the only
waterfalls in Egypt, making it a popular summer resort for Egyptians and a paradise for
bird watchers and an authentic desert adventure.

What liability insurance does the carrier have?
The mode of transportation will be buses and 4x4 cars
If a driver gets injured, there will be another licensed driver sitting next to him
to get over, and there will be a trained leader in first aid

Where will the students be housed and fed?


Students are going to spend the night in tents with sleeping
bags and mattresses in Qusoor El Arab Camp
There will be a BBQ lunch and refreshments will be served on
the spot
Bedouin tea and toasted marshmallows will be served as well

What liability insurance does a tour guide has


There will always be a backup tour guide to continue guiding
the students and the trained leader will be responsible to help
the injured tour guide

Activities

DAY 1

1. Morning pick-up and departure from Waterway by buses to the


pottery school at Tunis Village where they are going to enjoy workshop
learning about pottery and then having a felucca tour in Quaroon Lake
2. Then change to 4x4 cars to get to the Magic Lake dunes area where
students will spend their time enjoying sand-boarding.
3. After that, they will go to Qusoor El Arab Camp. BBQ lunch will be
served on the spot.
4. Then, they will have fun with the activities available there like
ziplining, beach buggies, and horse riding.
5. Students are going to spend the night in tents with sleeping bags and
mattresses

DAY 2

1. Oriental Breakfast at Qusoor El Arab Camp


2. Then head to Wadi Hitan Museum to learn about whales.
3. BBQ lunch at Wadi Hitan Restaurant
4. Head back to Cairo

Members will be prohibited from collecting money from students. Preferably,


only the chairperson could collect the money

We will store the money in a locked and secured location until it's needed
