Motivation Haarp antennas

The objective of this work is to be able to simulate the ionosphere of the
earth on a large scale using the spectral element method in order to
carry out the lowest possible computational cost.
Zakharov Equations
We have modified the extended zakharov equations to be able to have
a greater domain of study.

We put on the left side of the equation a constant electric field that What eliason does in his 2013 article is to solve the continuity equations,
simulates the field produced by the antenna and we also broadened momentum and Maxwell’s equations for two types of meshing, one very

in the equation. to resolve electromagnetic waves and cubic interpolation is used to go
from the coarse mesh to the thin mesh, and from the dense mesh to the
An experimental study coarse mesh, the average of the data is used and thus the computational
cost decreases considerably. Our job is to be able to implement a
similarity using the spectral elements method for which we have two
methods.
Our task now is to be able to implement the problem so that it can be
solved by dedalus and we have two ways in which each one has its
challenges. One is to be able to combine the bases and be able to
implement the equations in such a way that the Courant condition can
be avoided On the other hand, it is to be able to implement it on two
computers and communicate in parallel by doing the same as Eliasson,
but by using spectral methods.
