The 71th Republic Day of India was celebrated with gaiety and
patriotic fervour at GF's Godavari college of Engineering amidst the
foggy morning of 26th January, 2020. The ceremony took place in the
presence of Dr. Ulhas Patil ,President of Godavari Foundation , Dr.
V.H.Patil ,Principal of GF's GCOE, Mrs. Nilima Chaudhari, Principal
Godavari CBSE School, All the dignitaries of Godavari Foundation,
HODs of various department, faculty ,staff members and students. The
ceremony commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by the
Chief Guest Honourable Dr. Ulhas Patil (President of Godavari
Foundation) .This was accompanied by the rendition of National
Anthem. The programme moved forward with an incredible display of
parade by the students. The energetic performances by the students
and the infectious beats of various dance forms filled everyone with
great energy and enthusiasm. The heartfelt renditions of patriotic
songs aroused feelings of love and brotherhood among all.

Shivaji Jayanti was celebrated with great zeal in our college on 19 February 2020. The
celebration began with beautiful lezim fork dance. The students of second shift
polytechnic, performed prodigious powada by Narendra Mahajan, Dimpal
Shimpi,Tushar Patil, Dhawal Marathe, Devyani falak, Monal Patil, Rohan Ahire,
Prajwal Chudivale, Purvesh Barhate, Bhushan Patil, Jayesh Khairna and Dhiraj Patil
on the velour and bravery of Shivaji Maharaj. Chief guest of the program were the
Honourable Dr. Ulhas Patil ,President of Godavari Foundation, Speaker of the
program Prof, Arjun Patil. The Honourable Principal Dr. V.H.Patil, Vice-Principal
Prof.P.V. Phalak, All HOD's were present on the dice.

their best which was a colorful treat

Like every year, this year also our college had organized “Blood
Donation Camp”. The camp was on 20th February at 9:00 AM. The
inauguration of the event was done by Dr. Ulhas Patil, President of
Godavari Foundation in the presence of Dr. V.H.Patil , Principal of
GF's GCOE, Prof. P.V. Phalak , Vice Principal of GF's GCOE, Dr.
Prashant S. Warke, Director GF's GIMR, Jalgaon , All HODs , Staff
and students. 50 volunteers came forward to donate blood during the
camp which included teaching & students . A Certicate of
appreciation, donation card, refreshment was given to each donor as
a token of gratitude.The blood donation camp was co –ordinated by
Prof. Ganesh Chauvan, Prof. Sunil Shete, Prof. Saurabh Baviskar
along with students.
 FISHPOND DAY
Fishpond day was organised on 20thth February at our college.

In this event Students put musical and verbal fishpond on their friends.

The entire college participated wholeheartedly in this event.

This is the favourite event of students .

ULHAS 2020
The Annual Cultural Programme ULHAS -2020 of our College was held in the college premises in a
betting manner on 20 February . The Annual Cultural Program gives an opportunity for students to
present their talents in music, dance and drama. The energised and motivated students showcase
colour lled and mesmerising performance. Chief guest of the program were the Honourable Dr. Ulhas
Patil ,President of Godavari Foundation, Dr. Varsha Patil ,Secretary of Godavari Foundatio and Dr.
Ketki Patil, Member of Godavari Foundation. The Honourable Principal Dr. V.H.Patil, Vice-Principal
Prof.P.V. Phalak, Chairman of the program Prof. Nilesh Vani , All HOD's were present on the dice.The
chief guest Dr. Ulhas Patil delivered a valuable speech. In his speech he gave much importance to the
youth power ,our contribution to society as a engineer and need for arranging such a programme. He
encouraged the students for their laudable performances. However, everybody enjoyed the cultural
function and highly appreciated the faculty co-ordinators, student co-ordinators and anchors .

In our college GF's GCOE, Jalgaon the National Level Technical Event PHOENIX-
2020” was organized on 18, February . In this huge event there were 15
competitions in which more than 800 students had participated from the various
colleges.
The program was inaugurated by Chief guest Mr. Pravin Patel ,Director of
PACK-WELL (India) and Mr. Chhabiraj Rane , M.D. Chabbi Electrical PVT, Jalgaon ,
in the presence of Dr. Varsha Patil ( Secretory of Godavari Foundation), Dr. Ketaki

GF's Godavari College of Engineering is also very famous for sports in our region. Prof. Asif Khan,
Physical Director of our college is well aware that games and sports play a vital role in the student's life.
A student should study hard to be successful in competitive examinations. But, he should also play
games and sports to enjoy the health and vigour of life. Considering the concept of “SPORTS FOR ALL”
throughout the entire session our college had organized Inter-department tournaments for students as
well as for staff. It is one of the largest co-curricular activity programs that offer an extensive
opportunity to all the students.
