1. What do you think is the message of the pictures above?
Based on the picture shown above in my opinion it shows how they commit punishable acts that are
under Human Security Act 2007 (RA 9372) . An act to secure the state and our people from terrorism.
This law defines new crimes such as terrorism and conspiracy to commit terrorism.

2. What should have been done in order to avoid such scenarios presented above?
We should give prominence to the interconnectedness of both threats and responses when addressing
the insecurities. Specifies risk, threats, hazards, and addresses their root causes. Explicit and enforced
protection of human rights and civil liberties. Protection from oppressive traditional practices, harsh
treatment towards women, or discrimination against indigenous people or refuge groups.

In the early morning of July 27, 2003, a group of 321 armed soldiers led by the Lt. Senior Grade Antonio
Trillanes IV (Philippine Navy), and Captains Gerardo Gambala and Milo Maestrecampo (Philippine Army)
took over the Oakwood Premier Ayala Center (now Ascott) in Makati City to renounce the alleged
corruption of the Gloria Macapagal Arroyo administration. 18 hours later, after failing to rally support
from the public or the armed forces, the soldiers surrendered peacefully and were charged in a general
court martial. Not a single shot was 5fired.

1. What do you think is the crime against humanity is being committed?

Coup d'état because any person who promotes, maintains or heads a rebellion or insurrection shall
suffer the penalty of reclusion perpetua.

2. Why do you think the crime had been committed?

They perpetrated a state of rebellion.

3. If you were in close contact with the group, what piece of advice you could have offered? Why?
You should speculate frequently about the fallouts before the violence that has no solid proof and
engage in rebellion. All of you should be proper and good models for teenagers since all of you are
public servants.

Dear Atty. Kulas,

My son went missing last month. The only witness we have found revealed that a certain police officer
was responsible for the disappearance of my son. I confronted the officer and asked the whereabouts of
my son, but he claimed that he did not know anything. I told him that I was going to file a case for
kidnapping against him. He, however, claimed that he could not be charged with such an offense
because he is a police officer. Is this true?

Myresponse,

Dear Ismael,

It is proven then you the adequate evidence that the said police officer was the last person your son
was before the kidnapping incident happen. Then you can have the case file and demand, if it’s haven't
been enough evidence let the police officer resolve the case. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty.
Respecting for someone's privacy of telling some details because we cannot force not please to tell
about the incident yet. Be patient and let people who are under the law take action with that.

Essay: Explain briefly the food for thought below.

“Humanity will not enjoy security without development; it will not enjoy
development without security; and it will not enjoy either without respect for human rights.”

Humanity means to care and help others wherever they need help, in whichever everyone has the
liability to one another. That we could not enjoy it without development. Security without development
is nothing at all, for having a serity we will always be achieved by expanding development in every way.
Every human being has its role and responsibilities just only for themselves but also to the people
surrounding the community. Development depends on the person, but human rights could be better
valued.

ASSIGNMENT:

As an active youth of today’s generation, create a proposal to maintain a just

and humane society.

Peace and unity are what we need. As an active youth in the organization, this proposal I want to
maintain in a society that highly recommends it to every people in this country. So if I will connect all of
this it is related to the politics in which the election is vastly approaching. I know it might be weird I
mentioned this because as a clarification when we say unity we must choose the leader who has good
intentions for every Filipino netizen also, clear the minds of everyone to choose wisely for this coming
election year 2022. By that, we can beat peace.
