Leadership there are many styles in becoming or accepting the role of a leader , becoming a democratic
leader is being a free but more on focused in society rules , obeying the law and giving freedom speeches to
all the members and also there is a type of leader which is called Autocratic leaders that only assigns the
members of any given tasks . In this picture there are two types of style of becoming and performing into a
leader the upper example picture shows us the style of a leader that assigns task to members in order to
perform and provide the given assignments and finish the tasks the leader only knows how to criticize and
assign members but don’t know how to participate in any of the tasks. In the following 2 nd picture we see
that even the leader is helping to perform and finish the given tasks so that members can actually be less of
work and has the opportunity to do more than one work. They can easily finish jobs , tasks and other given
tasks in just a hours or half a day.

Activity 2:Self Assesment

On handling critics in my administration I will to understand what they want to fight for and what they want
to be heard by me , not so much that I can do things about to what they want and what they are fighting for
but I can say is that I can clearly give so small efforts for them and their perspective towards what they want
for my country. If all goes wrong and turn into chaos like back in the days of the marcos administration I will
try to handle all of my country man in the form of not laying a finger at them not hurting them but to satisfy
them from what they want and what it needs to be done. Projects that I may do is to ensure the growth of
the economy by giving my country man the cheapest liabilities and giving them the proper treatment of
becoming a responsible citizen giving jobs to the ones who in need punishing high end companies that
evades taxes giving free education to all the children and teenagers for a better future development. Giving
proper health care and institutions to be able to give the sick and the poor to be treated in every hospitals
with or without the need of money.

Activity 3
1. The leader style effective for me is the Democratic Leadership Style.

2. Leadership is a way to direct and approach all your members into a successful performance.

3. I have never experienced becoming a leader but I have participated in some other group tasks

and gave some good opinions on the leader, sometimes overcoming somethings isnt the leaders

everyday tasks members can also solve problems and overcome the pressure.

4. They should have good knowledge and open minded abilities to understand each of his

members he needs to have respect and proper communication towards every member.

5. I think they should learn not to steal other people’s ideas nor the other leaders who initiated a

good idea and acutally steal the idea from the past leader .

Assesment 2.

1. L – Learning to communicate and provide good quality assesments to those members who

are in need.

2. E – Entertaining the right and particular members that have problems handling their

problems.

3. A – Associating with other ideas to provide good quality and best work and performance.

4. D – Detailed , Precise and Accurate to each task that will be given.

5. E – Execute proper work and less errors on the tasks.

6. R – Regroup members when chaos and pressure consumes the members.

DRUG ADDICTION
Concepcion John Elmer E.

failure of the heart, I will also tell him that intaking alcohol too much can cause kidney stones or inflamed
kidney. If he will not stop these rebellious acts I shall too will have to report it to his parents to be able to
take some indigenous and fast actions towards his wrong doings, a lot of teenager today are more
problematic and too pressured by the ways of how they live and how their parents expects from them I know
the roots and cause of his actions and I cand tell him the rights and wrong , pros and cons of his actions.
Taking drugs such as marijuana is not cool and I certainly not recommend nor tolerate him to intake
marijuana especially if that drug is not prescribed for his health.

ACTIVITY FOR CAMPUS-SAFETY-AND-
SECURITY
1. What is the significance of the NSTP to National Security? Explain your answer.

- The NSTP gave importance to the enhancement of civic consciousness without

compromising the national security needs of the country in the event of war, thereby

retaining the ROTC as a component program of the NSTP instead of entirely abolishing it.

- Marshalling economic power to facilitate or compel cooperation. Maintaining effective

armed forces. Implementing civil defense and emergency preparedness measures

(including anti-terrorism legislation).

- According to RA 9163, NSTP is a program aimed at enhancing civic consciousness and

defense preparedness in the youth by developing the ethnics of service and patriotism while

undergoing training in any of its three program components which are specially designed to
enhance the youth’s active contribution.

2. From the given threats to Campus Safety and Security, pick two (2) which you think are the most

threatening? Explain your answer.

- Bomb Threats , threats coming from an explosion is very dangerous considering that we

don’t expect or know when will the bomb explode it can kill multiple lives in just one bomb.

- Terrorism , terrorism isn’t just abducting and asking for a ransom it is very dangerous for the

possible purpose of every second or hours terrorist groups can kill multiple lives when

amends did not meet with the negotiator and it can lead into crossfire while hostages is in

the middle of the free fire.

3. Do you think the Philippines has a good National Disaster Preparedness Program? If YES, give an

example to justify your answer. If NO, site an example of a National Disaster Preparedness Program that our
country can implement.

- Yes, Philippines has an Early Warning System when it comes to natural disasters we have

highly new technologies in finding the exact time or year in when will these calamities struck

our very own nation.

NARRATIVE REPORT FOR DISASTER
PREPAREDNESS SEMINAR

Narrative Report for Disaster Preparedness Seminar

Disasters and Calamities are not always expectedly to come in any of the region inside our country, the
possibilities of having a disastrous moments are much more higher when it comes to the months of Ber. This
our the months that the north pole’s ice are being melted and dragging the tides towards every country in
the earth. And it is much so that we need to be prepared in case circumstances because of the possibilities
that the coming disaster are too deadly for us humans . Getting ready and being prepared for any possible
disasters that might hit our country is much more needed and must be learned and shared to each and
everyone in a community or any type of necessary work field. Staffs of the communities official sectors and
emergency volunteers must be ready in any cost, because of the disasters that may hit strong nor weak
disasters. Saving lives and other much needed must be the top priority for every volunteers. Possibly because
of what our guest speaker said the we pilipino’s endured most of the disasters in the past and we must be
ready for the evolution and changes to our climate. Liquefaction an Earthquake shaking can cause soils to
behave like a liquid or a quick sand like soil and thus it can destroy the supporting structures of any type of
buildings and can affect many people. Tsunamis are very much unexpected to each and every one of the
country considering that we don’t have the type of gadgets for now that can warn us about on why , where
and how a tsunami might affect a country. Fires are the same with tsunamis , fire is unexpected to brought
out because of the many reasons and causes on how it can start and spread. So we must be ready in every
situation that is unexpected to start or to come.

Hazard Awareness, Exposure and Vulnerability

Narrative report
Exposure the location, attributes, and value of the assets that are important to communities

(people, buildings, factories, farmland, etc) and that could be affected by a hazard. Vulnerability

the likelihood that assets will be damage, destroyed , affected when exposed to a hazard.

Risk can be hard to see in the world around us. Sometimes it might look like a wobbly ladder or

ice on the sidewalk. When it comes to disasters, risk is often invisible on a day-to-day basis.

Walking around the neighborhood, it’s hard for the untrained eye to see where a flood might

happen, or identify what could get damaged during an earthquake.

Risk is a combination of three components: hazard, exposure, and vulnerability. Data from each
of these categories can be used to paint a picture of risk in a certain location and over time.

Risk information is the foundation for good disaster risk management, which is how

communities and governments protect people and property from natural hazards. Risk

information helps tell the story of what, when, and where a disaster might happen, how

severe it could be, and who would be most affected. If we don’t understand risk, we can’t

manage it.

But it’s not enough to have the data. The data must be used and communicated in a way that

allows decision makers — whether they be an individual member of the public, a government

official, or anyone in between — to understand the science and risk information, and act upon

it.

As an example, city planners have to understand risk, or else they could accidentally make

decisions that increase risk and place more people in harm’s way. This can happen when

housing developers are allowed to build in floodplains, or when building codes are not

enforced. That’s where risk communication becomes vital. If we can illustrate how a piece of

land that seems safe today might not be in a few years, we can keep more people’s homes out

of high risk areas.

Historically, the world has suffered immense losses from disasters and spent a lot of money on

response, recovery and rebuilding. But what if we didn’t lose so much every time an earthquake

or hurricane hits? Communicating risk makes this possible. We know that one dollar spent on

disaster mitigation is worth about $6 in response. So it really pays off to understand risk.

Visualizations are an excellent way to communicate information in an engaging,

understandable, and accessible way. This is especially true for disaster risk data. Visualizing risk

(in a way that’s relevant to your audience) can help people see their cities and communities as

they never have before.
