INTRODUCTION

•Talent Management is a strategy applied by the organizations to recruit right talent by


keeping organizational objectives in mind and helping them grow within their capabilities.

• A strategic talent management creates an employer brand which organically attracts your
ideal talent, and in turn contributes to higher levels of business performance and results.

• Talent Management clearly improves business performance by engaging employees which


keeps them motivated to achieve their business goals.

• Google is known as a ‘talent magnet’ means it is well known for attracting and retaining
extraordinary talents in the field.
• Google has changed into learning hotspot due to its leadership and talent. Google is
known for building a bright future for their employees.

• Google has three main strategies for ‘talent management’


a) Recruitments
b) Performance management
c) Development

• Google innovative HR management consists of a model called 70/20/10 model. In


this model 70% of employee’s work time is dedicated towards business, 20% of their
work time is allowed to work on their personal development and 10% of their work
time is for their personal stuff.
METHADOLOGY

Objectives of the study:


1. Objective of this research and study is to bring light to the comprehensive nature of talent
management and how it suffuse all the aspects of human resource and ensures to get right
people on board.

2. To overstate the importance of talent management in the organizations for their smooth and
efficient working.

3. To acknowledge the HR management at Google.

Mode of data collection:


• Mode of data is “secondary data”.
• Data was collected through internet, various books, journals and websites.
KEY FINDINGS

‘Talent Management’ is a wide term and it is not just


used for Human Resource but also for hiring,
managing, retaining the most talented and
extraordinary employees in the industry.

Human resources at Google is known as


‘people operations’ and it is the science at
Google.

Transparency is the main reason why


performance management works so well at
Google.

• From this graph we conclude that “employee


experience” is the most used way to hire and
retain the talents in Google.

• 96% of talent professionals say employee


experience is becoming more important and is the
way to hire talents.
2. Has Talent Management served success at Google?

• A survey was conducted among the


employees of the organization.

• Where it was found that 72% of the


employees think it did served success.

• Where as 28% of employees thought it didn’t


served success.
CONCLUSION

• The main aim of talent management is to provide training and development, employee
recruitment and performance reviews in an organization.

• Google is the leading technology industry which has proven its success with the help of
highly talented staff and workforce.

• Google believes in ability to work rather than experience.
