Price marketing strategy

This is one of the most important issues in the marketing strategy of Sheraton hotels,
especially in the context of the covid 19 pandemic and fierce competition today. Sheraton
Hotel always has sensitive activities, promptly grasping market changes to offer suitable
prices.

The price of the hotel room depends on the type of room, from time to time. Room rates
increase with larger rooms and surcharges during holidays and weekends. The average price
is from 105 USD to 820 USD excluding tax and service. Reportedly, Sheraton charges a 7%
service charge and 10% VAT.

For food and additional services, rates are based on the amount used by the customer. The
pricing strategy that Sheraton regularly applies is to reduce prices of products and services to
stimulate customer demand.

Commenting on contemporary trends in tourism and new trends after the COVID-19
pandemic, Sheraton hotel has several pricing strategies:

Sheraton Member Rates

•These rates offer a discount of at least two percent on weekdays and up to five percent on
weekends.

•The rate is applied to the hotel's lowest applicable available public rates for non-premium
rooms.

•The rates must be booked by the Sheraton member using the appropriate member rate
category.

•Member Rates do not apply to groups of 10 or more rooms.

•The member rate may not be combined with other select promotions, offers or discounts, and
is not valid for existing reservations or groups.

•Member Rates do not apply to qualified transient rates such as government, negotiated rates,
AAA, and Senior Discount.

A new trend after the COVID-19 epidemic, many experts believe that group tourism will be
restricted, community tourism, ecotourism, sustainable tourism, etc. will take the throne.
