ASSESSMENT:

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic invokes feelings of fear, uncertainty, anxiety, and threats to
food security because of the fragile agriculture and food systems of the country. People have
become concerned about the health and even possible death of themselves and others. They
fear unemployment, debts, professional career breakdown, and broader economic crisis.

Societies around the globe have been hit hard by the coronavirus or covid-19.People are being
affected in their daily lives and are concerned about the consequences for their health, jobs,
and well-being. Among the hit hardest are millions of poor people losing their income, women
affected by gender based violence and migrant suffering from growing xenophobia.

In nearly all countries across the world, providers of youth and adult education have been
forced to temporarily close their doors, with dramatic consequences for the sustainability of
these institutions, their employees, and, not least, the learners. At the same time adult learning
and education (ALE) can contribute to mitigate the consequences of the crisis, offer badly
needed education and training and support social action to shape the “new world”.

Laws have a daily impact on our lives, whether they relate to social services,
education, housing, nutrition, food safety, consumer rights or the environment.
On the other hand, we tend to become more involved with public policy
decision- making when a rule or regulation has a negative impact on our life.
The demand for health care services differs from other consumer purchases
in that consumers may not have much choice in what type of health care they
are receiving, where they will get it from and how much they will have to pay
for it and they certainly will not have a choice to not purchase it if it is a life or
death.

Doing and participating recreational activities as well as eating healthy food the best thing to do
during this time of pandemic because it helps improve well-being emotional and cognitive
function
