Statement of the Problem

The study generally aimed to utilize magnetic electricity as a source of

renewable energy to address the on-going and rampant issue of sudden electricity

interruptions or shortages in the classrooms of Negros Oriental High School.

Specifically, it seeks to answer the following questions:

1. What is the level of feasibility of utilizing magnetic electricity as a renewable

energy source?

2. Is there a significant difference between this magnetic electricity generator and

other renewable energy techniques in terms of??

2.1 cost-efficiency

2.2 availability

2.3 reducing carbon footprints

3. What are the environmental impacts and benefits of using magnetic electricity as a

source of energy?

4. What are the potential challenges and limitations associated with implementing a

magnetic electricity generator as a renewable energy source in a high school setting

like Negros Oriental High School?

Scope and Delimitation.

This study focuses on finding a cost efficient, sustainable, and renewable

energy source for small-scale classrooms in Negros Oriental High School with the use

of magnets, magnetic forces, and mechanical energy. Recent studies and researches

on electricity and
magnetic forces and mechanical energy will be used as reference in finding out the

most cost efficient and reliable template, as well as previously conducted experiments

in energy generation involving magnets, magnetic forces, or mechanical energy.

This research will not extend beyond the advanced factors of energy

generation and mechanical power, such as, large-scale prototype instantiation, large-

scale energy distribution, and complex mechanical engineering. However, the basics

of mechanical engineering, electronics, magnetic physics, and mechanical energy will

be covered. It will also show the relation of the branches of Science, Technology,

Engineering, and Mathematics with one another.

Review of Related Studies

Theoretical Framework

This research is based off of a YouTube video (3Technology, 2020, 6:18) that

presented a compelling concept related to the conversion of mechanical energy into

electrical power through the utilization of magnetic forces. The video not only evoked

intellectual curiosity but also highlighted the potential applications of magnetic

generators. Building upon the inspiration drawn from this visual source, the current

study embarks on the task of developing a magnetic generator intended to convert

mechanical energy into electrical energy. This research endeavors to bridge the

conceptual insights offered in the video with practical application, grounded in

established principles of electromagnetic induction and magnetic interactions. The

objective is to make a scholarly contribution to the field of sustainable energy

generation, originating from the concept inspired from the aforementioned video.
