Course Description:
Students have already learned RLC circuits, logic design and logic gates. This course starts from the definition and
explanation of basic parameters and techniques involved in recognizing the types and function of electrical
engineering instruments. Explain the area-wise applicability of electrical components, especially in reference with
pressure, temperature and flow rate measurements. Describe the formation/construction, basic principles, block
diagrams, circuit diagrams and working of ac and dc instruments used to measure current and voltage

instruments, Indicating instruments and instruments with a signal output, Accuracy and inaccuracy, Precision
