Yoga Journal

5th May 2021: I partnered up with Julia and we researched the theme for our yoga sessions
as well as testing out different yoga poses which we found online. It was a good start to the
project as I got a good sense of what I wanted to have in my yoga session

7th May 2021: I created a draft list of the poses which I wanted and planned out certain
elements in my session such as the music. Afterwards, I did a yoga session with Julia where
she gave me feedback. During this stage, I also helped planning out some parts of her
session and gave her feedback.

11th May 2021: I organised the yoga poses for the moves to have smooth transitions and
tested it out by having a yoga session with her and getting feedback such as adding more
challenges or levels of difficulties.

13th May 2021: I tested out my yoga session with Sophia and Sara and asked for feedback.

19th May 2021: Absent

25th May 2021: Juli had her yoga session which focused on relaxation. I enjoyed that it was
sort of slow and was relaxing and effective. However, if there was something to improve on,
it could be slightly more elaborate explanation of the pose as I was slightly confused in the
beginning. Afterwards, Selina had her yoga session. I enjoyed her yoga session as it had
various poses and her voice was very soothing and relaxing. If there were room for
improvements, i would say that she could maybe have slightly smoother transitions. In my
yoga session, which was 11 minutes, I think I was successful as all of my classmates were
able to follow along and carried out the poses correctly. I also think my transitions were
smooth. However, I think I could have maybe added more poses. Last but not least, we had
Sophia’s yoga session which was unique as she did story telling as we lay in the corpse pose
and we meditated fully and successfully cleared our mind from other thoughts.

27th May 2021: Alex first had her yoga session with us. I felt her yoga session was really
refreshing as it focused on a different theme in yoga which was to engage the core muscles
of your body. I felt her session was most challenging, especially the side plank. Afterwards,
Julia had her session which was very fun and chill and worked on poses which were relaxing
and easy to follow. Lastly, Hana had her session which was very relaxing and her voice really
matched the calmness of the session.

2nd June 2021: Sara and Kokomi had their sessions. Sara’s session I felt was both relaxing and
fun and I felt energised afterwards. Kokomi’s session was really good as it was calming like
intended and the instructions for the poses were well explained.
