Independent India

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Greetings from Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE)!

As you may be aware, the Government of India has launched a 75-week celebration of
India’s 75th anniversary of Independence (Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav) until 15th August 2022.
Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) will publish a compendium of the 75 most
significant and eminent engineering and technological achievements of the country either by
individuals or through collective efforts to showcase the country’s seminal achievements in
this domain.

I am delighted to inform that with a view to engage higher secondary students and college
students of our country and spread awareness among the Youth of India, an all-India
competition for students has been organized inviting upto10 Landmark engineering
feats/achievements since independence. The entries received from students through this
competition which match with the 75 achievements selected by INAE experts would be
declared winners of attractive prizes worth up to a total of Rs 2 lakhs.

Besides the competition for students, inputs are also sought from the esteemed faculty of your
academic institution on the same webpage with a view to gather inputs from the
Academicians from leading institutions of the country.

The link for students to participate in the competition and for faculty to submit their entries in
the Non-student category is given below.

You are requested to disseminate the link and relevant information regarding this competition
and initiative to the students and faculty of your institution to enable their participation and
submitting of entries/inputs online. The webpage is self explanatory and option is provided
for students (in student category) as well as faculty (under Non-student category) to submit
their entries on the same Webpage.
We would be delighted to solicit your cooperation for wide dissemination of the above
information to maximum students and faculty from your esteemed organization thereby
contributing to this important initiative of INAE undertaken under the aegis of the Azadi ka
Amrit Mahotsav celebrations.
