number master data?

(1) To open the app, select the Change Material Serial Number tile.

(2) In the Material field, begin to enter TG20 and a list of material numbers that start with
the same digits appears.

(3) Select TG20.

(4) In the Serial Number field, enter 1000016 and press Enter.

(5) To change the serial number, choose More > Edit > Special serial no. functions
> Change serial no.

(6) In the New serial number field, enter 1000025 and choose Continue.

(7) Choose Yes.

(8) To change the material number, choose More > Edit > Special serial no. functions >
Change material number...

The material changes are not authorized within the scope of master data
management if the serial number is currently in stock.

(9) In the Description field, enter a new description. For this tutorial, enter Trad.Good 20 -
Changed and press Enter.

(10) To change the category, choose More > Edit > Change category...

(11) To enter a new equipment category, open the list.

(12) Select M - Machines.

(13) The new category must have the same reference type as the current category.

Choose Continue.

(14) Choose Save.

A status message confirms the changed serial number.

(15) To return to the launchpad, choose Home.
