All dramatization is
essentially a process
of communication
which both participant
and spectators are
engaged. A creative
interaction takes place,
and sharing of ideas.

PRINCIPLES THAT MUST BE
OBSERVED IN CHOOSING PUPPET
PLAY FOR TEACHING
(DALE(1996)
DRAMATIC EXPERIENCES
FOR MULTIPLE
INTELLIGENCES
• KINESTHETIC INTELLIGENCE
• MUSICAL INTELLIGENCE
• INTRAPERSONAL INTELLIGENCE
Advantages
• Experiential learning is more powerful
than instructions.
• It is time efficient
• It is enjoying and we understand the
scenario or story.
• Energizing activity/fun to do.
• Allows participants to contribute
actively (even the quieter ones).
Disadvantages
• Participants may be too shy and
reluctant.
• It can be ‘too much fun’ and disrupt the
task.
• Participants can get too involved and
loose objectivity.
• The observers may take ‘sides’ based on
their preconceptions.
• Participants can overact and show off
the observer may not observe well or
take notes.
