● Future PLC publishes more than 50 magazines in relation to: video gaming,

● Future PLC reaches over 390 million people monthly, through their websites, events
and magazines making them a mass media company since Future PLC mentions
media technologies used to spread information to a big audience, this is
communicated through things such as movies, magazines, advertisements, the
internet and newspapers.
● Future PLC also published the official magazines for huge major gaming companies;
Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony.

Competing products.
The magazines Grazia (Bauer Media) and Marie
Claire (Future PLC) both fall under the same genre:
fashion. This creates competition and rivalry between
the two since they cover similar topics/content and
also have an interest in trying to appeal to the same
audience, which means they are competitors and the
companies that own them (Bauer Media and Future
PLC) competitors too. Marie Claire is the global
women's leadership brand that connects women
together. Marie Claire, owned by Future PLC, aims to
deliver new trends in the fashion industry, they have a
monthly audience of 17.5 million users a month and
have a social reach of 6 million.
Grazia and Marie Claire both are huge influential magazines that entertain the same target
audience creating major competition. Consumers may like one magazine more than the
other, making the other brand lose out financially.
It is important that companies have a good ability to effectively compete with competitors.

Gardening etc and garden answers are both magazines under the same category/genre.
This means they fall under trying to appeal to the same audiences which therefore creates
competition since they cover the same content, this then makes the companies that own
them competitive. Both magazines are extremely influential and known globally which also
creates competition, which ultimately means that Bauer Media and Future PLC turn into
competitors.

Competing products.
The magazine “that’s life” owned by Bauer Media is a magazine filled with celeb gossip and
their lifestyle etc, and the magazine woman's weekly is owned by Future PLC is packed full
of inspiring, helpful and useful ideas and information for
women who are the heart of their homes and families. Since
they are under the same genre this creates competition
because consumers may sway to one more than the other.
They also both cover the same topics which means they are
trying to satisfy similar audiences, that's life talks about
celebrity gossip and secrets etc, and so does women's
weekly.
Both of the magazines are known worldwide by millions of
people.

Competing products.
Today's golfer and golf monthly are both magazines
that offer guidance and their golfing expertise to new
people or people with a keen interest in golf. Since
both magazines are trying to entertain the same
audience this creates competition, since the content on
both magazines are so similar both companies have to
work hard to always be better than the other.
