1. Initially you have to create both the parent asset and child asset independently (as if there is no relation). This can be done   Document References  
by the Asset Number Interface program, then once they are created, you can check in the UI whether they are created OK (by
query in the Asset Number form). This I recommend to be done only for a small sample of data but not for all (to be sure the No References available for
