live a happier life. I am Sofia Contreras, an undergraduate in Biochemistry and Biological Science at
University of California, Davis and I will be a great addition to the Quality Control Team as I am
adaptable and efficient in collecting data for any product from previous experiences.

Kate Farms is a rapidly changing company that requires employees to have flexible schedules,
passion in helping others, and experience in writing lab reports for quality checks. I have previously
worked on a science fair project relating to the quality of tomatoes growing in light pollution. Data
was routinely collected over months, so I taught myself how to write lab reports during each check-
in. This was my first research project as I became passionate in wanting to improve the quality of
our food while also helping others attain better nutrition in our light polluted environment. I have a
well-built foundation to build more specific lab skills on as I can quickly learn how to be
independent due to my previous self-taught knowledge of writing detailed lab reports.

I have also worked as a dog sitter with full-time responsibility and care over two puppies. I learned
how to be adaptable as each puppy needed their own care while also learning tricks and being
house training in a shorter time constraint. The puppies created a fast-paced environment due to
their energetic nature and never-ending responsibilities, so I gained efficiency and a better
judgement in my quick decision making. I will apply these developed skills as a Quality Control
Technician as I will make more informed decisions about the QC data meeting all the criteria in a
timely manner as time is critical in an everchanging company.

Kate Farms is a growing company with room for new products to be produced to spread high-
quality products for everyone. I would be able to conduct research into making new higher-quality
products which will open more opportunities for people receiving their formulas in different ways.
I am efficient, responsible, and have general knowledge of labs that will help prevent products
being released that do not follow the quality value of Kate Farms. I have attached a resume where
