Dear Parent,
Greetings from Akshara!!
School is the foremost fountain of knowledge children are exposed to. At Akshara we provide a platform
for our students to acquire knowledge on various fields of education such as people, literature, history,
mathematics, and other numerous subjects. We have successfully completed our first term and we are
happy to share that the curriculum is moving ahead at a satisfactory pace along with achievement of
learning Objectives. Moving Ahead to conclude the academic session 2021-22, we have planned various
innovative and interactive sessions for our students.

Cultural Fest: We will be celebrating our Annual Cultural Fest- ‘SPANDAN’ on 18th December. It is an
occasion of celebration, felicitation, feast and festivity when students present their wonderful
performances, talents and creativity. The invitation of the same will be shared soon. The participation
is optional. We have also planned various workshops and virtual field trips for our students in the
month of January.

Assessments: Periodic assessments help students to analyse their learning and teachers to plan
interventions and support continued progress. The UT-2 is scheduled from 5th January 2022 to 11th
January 2022 and Annual Examinations are scheduled from 2nd March 2022 to 14th March 2022. Annual
Practical Examinations are scheduled from 5th to 11th February 2022. The syllabus and the other details
of the same will be provided soon. The assessment will be in school mode. The results will be declared
on 19th March 2022. The next academic session will commence from 21st March, 2022. The tentative
strategic and academic planning for the next session is ready although the online/offline mode of
schooling will be as per the state and centre directives.

Let’s Connect: Apart from the regular interactive sessions, the doubt clearing sessions and the remedial
sessions are already functional now. If the child needs more assistance in any of the concepts, the
respective subject teachers are available on call every evening from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm by prior
appointment. The parent can text their concerns to the teacher and can book an appointment through
WhatsApp.

The appreciation and the encouragement received from our parents during regular PTMs really
motivate our teachers. The gesture of gratitude from our parents inspires and encourages our faculty
members.
We are looking forward to meeting our parents once again during the virtual PTM scheduled on
11th December, Saturday.
The tentative schedule of PTM for the coming months is as follows: 22nd January’ 2022, 19th February’2022
and 26th March 2022.

Kindly note the Winter Vacations are from 25th to 27th December 20212nd and 31st December to 2nd January
2022. Virtual sessions will be from 28th to 30th December 2021.The school will reopen in physical mode
from 3rd January 2022, Monday.
