REVIEW:
In a democratic society like ours, people opinions are valued. Our government
leaders, as citizens representatives, have the responsibility of knowing how their
constituents feel about the problems in society. As different opinions are heard,
leaders can come up with solutions that will be of the greatest benefit to the
greatest number of people.
Was there ever a time when you wanted to express your side on an issue, but you
could not?
What hindered you from sharing your position?

Yes, there was a moment when I desperately wanted to voice my viewpoint on

a topic but couldn't. What hindered me? Because I was young at the time, I
was unable to communicate my views, and I believed that if I did, they would
simply ignore me and my viewpoint. Even though I'm eager, I'm afraid that
no one will accept my viewpoint on that particular problem, and I'm the type
of person who would rather remain silent than be heard.
