Position: Product Consultant

Description
The role of the Product Consultant is to actively participate in software development and
implementation projects through the initiation, analysis, execution and implementation phases. They
will be assigned a team made up of Business Analysts. This role will engage with cross-functional
and multi-national sales, business, and technology team members throughout the project life-cycle,
developing and documenting business requirements to be used by the software development and
delivery teams as well as the basis for test cases utilized by the QA team to ensure that solutions
meet the original business requirements. The Product Consultant provides leadership and drives
collaboration inside and outside of their assigned team to help deliver solutions that meet all the
stakeholder needs. They will report to their assigned Client Delivery Executive within the company.

Responsibilities
• Develop product knowledge and get certified
• Manage a team of Business Analysts and Business Analyst 2s, performing their annual reviews,
delegating tasks, and offering guidance for best-practices
• Focusing on customer satisfaction and project management to coordinate efforts between the
Delivery and Product Development teams
• Act as product SME – point of contact for customers for questions/requests/issues on the working
of the product
• Show self-initiative in performing research and obtaining needed data or information during the
requirement gathering stage
• Work with technical team on user stories as needed and validate the work done by the technical
team as needed in the form of UAT testing
• Identify issues, structure and conduct necessary analysis and draw conclusions and finding with
limited guidance
• Configuration activities as required within the product through the UI
• Conduct analysis of large sets of data/ document with limited guidance
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements
• 5+ years of experience
• University degree (any field, economics not necessary, technical is a plus)
• Experience working with offshore teams
• Healthcare Payer Industry knowledge
• Excellent analytical skills, logical and structured thinking, creative in problem solving.
• Leadership skills and the ability to delegate tasks to more junior team members
• Superior personal and interpersonal attributes (e.g. communication and soft skills, ability to work
in a team, results-oriented and a performance-oriented work style, creativity, entrepreneurial
qualities, personal maturity).

• High level of integrity and reliability
