Fostering good relationships with students,
colleagues and parents
Why is it Important?
Fostering effective relationships with students
helps build engagement and inclusion in class.
Building relationships with colleagues is
important for collaboration and positive work
environments. Helping parents with teaching
outside of the classroom is an important aspect
of education also, thus, a positive working
relationship would me essential.

their likes/dislikes
- Collaborate with colleagues (if
possible)
- Observe colleagues
- Add introduction of myself to school

Goal #2:
Be well planned and prepared:
- at least one week ahead of schedule in
lesson planning
- Plan dynamic lessons with backup
content
Why is it Important?
Being well planned allows me to deliver high
quality and effective lessons for the students.
Being planned in advance will allow me to edit
and make changes based on information
presented in classes before delivering the
lesson. Additionally, being prepared by adding
extra activities or planning backup information
will be very useful in the case of catastrophic
lesson failure.
