SAFETY RULES
CLOTHES
On lab days, come to school with
closed toed shoes, and long pants, Lab
coats and goggles will be provided for
you and are to be worn through the
entire lab.
PREP YOUR STATION
read your instructions and lab
materials needed and gather
everything before starting steps
on the lab
DON'T EAT OR DRINK
all food and drinks should be put away on
lab days. we dont want to
corscontaminate and get sick
CAREFUL WITH CHEMICALS
never taste or sniff anything unless
Mrs. Bryant tells you so.
SAFETY EQUIPEMENT
Know where the safety equipment
are located and know what to do
in the event of an incident.
Immediately report spills or
accidents to the teacher.
FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS
Our listening ears should always be on ,
bu especially on lab days, Listen for
instructions on where to go and do not
touch anything on the tables until
instructed.
MONITOR
No lab should be left alone. do not
leave your stations
BE CAREFUL
Handle all lab tools with care,
remember we are borrowing
them. If you see broken glass get
an adult, do not try to clean it
yourself.
CLEAN UP
always keep your lab station tidy,
after every lab clean up after
yourselves and help prepare for
the next class. wash your hands.
BE RESPONSIBLE
Have fun, ask questions,
make good choices.

experiment. I promise to come prepared for
lab days with closed toed shoes and my
hair pulled back with my sleeves rolled up. I
promise to wear my goggles, mask, and
gloves at all times. I promise to be
responsible and kind to others. I promise to
clean up after myself and to handle the
materials with care. I promise to be safe
and have fun. If i break any of the 10 rules
of the lab I am aware Mrs Bryant can take
away lab privliges.
