1.Why is marketing the core of
every project?
Well marketing is integral component of any business, project or
any commercial activity. If we look at the conventional concept of
marketing, it’s mainly related to finding customers for your product.
But now landscape has evolved and things have changed, as the new
and modern thinkers of marketing like Godin or Kotler believe that
you have to put customer into driving seat and develop products
and services that satisfy the needs of consumer and give him a
WOW! Experience. This concept solely highlights that why
marketing is core of every project. Apart this if marketing is done
effectively it can convert your leads into your brand advocates,
brand advocates are basically more than customers and spread a
positive WOM (word of mouth) among different customer segments.
Marketing also puts forward the concept of segmentation and
positioning, that enables the project manager to serve his client
based on his needs and communicate the customize message in the
black box of the customer. Marketing doesn’t stop here, once you
have acquired the customer with consistent marketing campaigns
you can not only retain that customer but also acquire new
customers for zero to minimum cost. The 4P’s of marketing also
play a crucial role in stability and growth of any project. In short, we
can say that marketing is heart and soul of any project and it plays a
vital role in achieving project goals.
2. Why would you like to
become a marketing specialist?
Being a marketing specialist is one the
goals of my life. As marketing
specialist, I want to understand the
patterns of consumer behavior and
understand their subconscious state of
mind. Sometimes consumer facing a
problem doesn’t knew how to solve it.
Well, in that case I want to emerge as a
marketing specialist who can innovate
products and services based on the
needs of consumer that are related to
my business model. Moreover, I love to
analyze the trends, ups and downs in the
market and then come up with a solution
accordingly. Another role of marketing
specialist, which made me realize that I
must be one! Is the communication.
Reaching right audience, with right,
effective and innovative message will
be the major reason behind pursuing
career as marketing specialist. I also
like to learn skills related to UX and
customer satisfaction, planning
campaigns, designing budget and most
importantly thinking out of the box.
