India International Trade Fair 2021 by Union

 The India International Trade Fair 2021 was
inaugurated by the Minister of Commerce

New Delhi.
 The Fair focuses on the theme "Aatmanirbhar
Bharat".

and Jharkhand are the Focus States.

Indian Air Force contingent participates in Dubai Air
Show
 An aircraft contingent of the Indian Air Force
(IAF), including its Sarang and Suryakiran
aerobatics team, is participating in the Dubai
Air Show.
 It is being held from November 14 to
November 18, 2021.
 The IAF has been invited by the UAE
government to perform along with some of the
best aerobatics and display teams in the
world, including the Russian Knights, and the
UAE’s Al Fursan.
Punjab:1st to have the facility of tissue culture-
based certification
 The Punjab Cabinet has approved the ‘Punjab
Tissue Culture Based Seed Potato Rules-
2021’ to develop Punjab as a standard potato
seed centre.
 It has become the first state in India to have
the facility of tissue culture-based certification.
 The Cabinet also approved to introduce the
‘Punjab Horticulture Nursery Bill-2021’ in
Vidhan Sabha Session by amending ‘Punjab
Fruit Nursery Act-1961’.

book on Satyajit Ray
 Author Bhaskar Chattopadhyay has come up
with a new book titled “The Cinema of Satyajit
Ray”, published by Westland.
 A new book on the works of legendary
filmmaker Satyajit Ray revisits each one of his
39 feature films, shorts and documentaries to
investigate their cinematic and social context.
 It claims to be an encyclopaedic coverage of
Ray’s cinema.

Watanabe re-elected as International Gymnastics
Federation President
 Morinari Watanabe has been re-elected to a
new three-year term as President of the
International Gymnastics Federation (FIG).
 Watanabe was first elected FIG President in
2016 for a four-year term.
 That was extended by one year when the
coronavirus pandemic caused the Tokyo
Olympics to be postponed.
 His new term is three years so the next
elections coincide with the 2024 Olympics in
Paris.
Akshay Karnewar becomes first bowler to concede
zero runs
 Akshay Karnewar has become the first bowler
in men's T20 cricket to concede zero runs
from his full quota of overs.
 He achieved this feat of bowling four maiden
overs during the Round 4 Plate match against
Manipur in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy
2021-22 at the ACA Stadium in Vijaywada.
 Karnewar finished with impressive figures of

CBSE launches Veer Gatha project in schools
 The Central Board of Secondary Education
(CBSE) has launched the ‘Veer Gatha
Project’ for students from grades 3-12.
 It has been launched in order to
commemorate the valiance and courage of
the armed force officers and personnel.
 As part of the project, the students can frame
different projects on gallantry award winners
and the best project will be awarded by the
Ministry of Defence.

RBI removes restrictions on Diners Club
International
 The Reserve Bank of India has removed
restrictions, with immediate effect, imposed
on Diners Club International regarding
onboarding of fresh domestic customers onto
its card network.
 In April 2021, the RBI had imposed
restrictions on it from onboarding new
domestic customers onto its card network
from May 1, 2021.
 Diners Club International is a direct banking
and payment services company.

Declaration’.
